There is an unmet need in metastatic breast cancer patients to monitor therapy response in real time. In this study, we show how a noninvasive and affordable strategy based on sequencing of plasma samples with longitudinal tracking of tumour fraction paired with a statistical model provides valuable information on treatment response in advance of the ...

Algebraic Change-Point Detection [PDF]
Elementary techniques from operational calculus, differential algebra, and noncommutative algebra lead to a new approach for change-point detection, which is an important field of investigation in various areas of applied sciences and engineering. Several successful numerical experiments are presented.

We identified adaptor protein ShcD as upregulated in triple‐negative breast cancer and found its expression to be correlated with reduced patient survival and increased invasion in cell models. Using a proteomic screen, we identified novel ShcD binding partners involved in EGFR signaling pathways.

Correlations from ion-pairing and the Nernst-Einstein equation
We present a new approximation to ionic conductivity well suited to dynamical atomic-scale simulations, based on the Nernst-Einstein equation. In our approximation, ionic aggregates constitute the elementary charge carriers, and are considered as non ...

Vers une commande sans modèle pour aménagements hydroélectriques en cascade [PDF]
A new concept called "Model-Free Control" is applied to hydroelectric run-of-the river power plants, with severe constraints and operating conditions. Numerous computer simulations display excellent results, which are obtained thanks to simple and robust algorithms.

Dual targeting of AKT and mTOR using MK2206 and RAD001 reduces tumor burden in an intracardiac colon cancer circulating tumor cell xenotransplantation model. Analysis of AKT isoform‐specific knockdowns in CTC‐MCC‐41 reveals differentially regulated proteins and phospho‐proteins by liquid chromatography coupled mass spectrometry. Circulating tumor cells

France\u27s Financial Crisis: Analyzing the Role of the Finance Minister [PDF]
The downfall of France\u27s Old Regime and the beginning of the French Revolution were largely caused by the financial crisis plaguing France. Since the Seven Year\u27s War, France\u27s finances had suffered and were spiraling out of control.

Targeted protein degradation in oncology: novel therapeutic opportunity for solid tumours?
Current anticancer therapies are limited by the occurrence of resistance and undruggability of most proteins. Targeted protein degraders are novel, promising agents that trigger the selective degradation of previously undruggable proteins through the recruitment of the ubiquitin–proteasome machinery. Their mechanism of action raises exciting challenges,

Lacunary formal power series and the Stern-Brocot sequence
Let $F(X) = \sum_{n \geq 0} (-1)^{\varepsilon_n} X^{-\lambda_n}$ be a real lacunary formal power series, where $\varepsilon_n = 0, 1$ and $\lambda_{n+1}/\lambda_n > 2$.
