The cell wall-bound phenolics as a biochemical indicator of soil drought resistance in winter triticale

open access: yesPlant, Soil and Environment, 2013
The leaf dehydration was accompanied by the highest increase in the content of cell wall-bound phenolics (CPh) during heading (148.3% C; % of control) and in course of drought applied twice during propagation and flowering (130.5% C) of triticale.

Three paths toward the quantum angle operator

open access: yes, 2016
We examine mathematical questions around angle (or phase) operator associated with a number operator through a short list of basic requirements. We implement three methods of construction of quantum angle.

Microtubule organization changes severely after mannitol and n-butanol treatments inducing microspore embryogenesis in bread wheat

open access: yesBMC Plant Biology, 2021
Background A mannitol stress treatment and a subsequent application of n-butanol, known as a microtubule-disrupting agent, enhance microspore embryogenesis (ME) induction and plant regeneration in bread wheat.

Non‐monotonic time‐ and frequency‐dependent diffusion kurtosis in the human brain revealed by pulsed and oscillating gradient experiments

open access: yesMagnetic Resonance in Medicine, Volume 94, Issue 6, Page 2358-2373, December 2025.
Abstract Purpose To investigate the time and frequency dependence of diffusion kurtosis in the in vivo human brain with pulsed (PGSE) and oscillating gradient spin‐echo (OGSE) experiments over a range of diffusion times and frequencies using high‐performance gradients.

Enhanced spectral response in frequency‐dependent diffusion measurements using a linear encoding model

open access: yesMagnetic Resonance in Medicine, Volume 94, Issue 6, Page 2405-2420, December 2025.
Abstract Purpose To devise a more comprehensive quantitative representation for spectral encodings in frequency‐dependent diffusion measurements for improved estimation of D(ω). Theory and Methods Whereas a spectral diffusion measurement is typically represented by a Dirac delta function at a single attributed frequency, spectral response is ...

The “question-mark” MR anatomy of the cervico-thoracic ganglia complex: can it help to avoid mistaking it for a malignant lesion on 68Ga-PSMA-11 PET/MR?

open access: yesRadiology and Oncology, 2019
Detectable uptake of 68Ga-PSMA-ligands in sympathetic ganglia may potentially lead to mistaking them for malignant lesions. Our aim was to investigate the anatomy of cervico-thoracic-ganglia-complex (CTG-C) in the MR part of multimodal 68Ga-PSMA-11 PET ...

From Stress to Recovery: Divergent Chilling Responses in Contrasting Miscanthus sinensis Genotypes

open access: yesGCB Bioenergy, Volume 17, Issue 12, December 2025.
Chilling temperatures severely constrain early‐season establishment of C4 bioenergy crops. Using time‐resolved physiological, hormonal, transcriptomic, and cell wall analyses of two Miscanthus sinensis genotypes contrasting in chilling tolerance, we show that resilience arises from sustained, coordinated stress and recovery responses rather than rapid ...

Water Relations and Physiological Traits Associated with the Yield Components of Winter Wheat (Triticum aestivum L.)

open access: yesAgriculture
Water stress in agricultural systems may occur slowly or abruptly. Plant reactions to stress differ with regard to its level and duration. The level of plant susceptibility to water deprivation primarily depends on the management of the water content and
