On some properties of the Fredholm‐type integral algebraic equations

Mathematical Methods in the Applied Sciences, 2020
In this paper, we study systems of Fredholm integral equations with a singular matrix multiplying the leading part. We address the solvability issues of such systems with separable kernels and, similarly to differential‐algebraic and integral algebraic equations, introduce the notion of index.

Fredholm Properties of Band Matrices and Dichotomy

1988
The invertibility and Fredholm properties of a regular block band matrix are described in terms of the dichotomy of the companion sequence.

On the Fredholm property of a manifold

Russian Mathematical Surveys, 1992
Summary: The aim of this note is to prove the Fredholm property for certain manifolds that arise naturally in problems of the theory of control by systems of constant rank.

B-fredholm and spectral properties for multipliers in Banach algebras

Rendiconti del Circolo Matematico di Palermo, 2006
The paper studies spectral and \(B\)-Fredholm properties of multipliers acting on semi-simple regular Tauberian commutative Banach algebras. It is shown that a multiplier is \(B\)-Fredholm if and only if it is semi \(B\)-Fredholm, and in this case the index of \(T\) is zero. Spectral mapping theorems for the Weyl and \(B\)-Weyl spectrum are proven, and

Some properties of Fredholm mappings in Banach analytic manifolds

Integral Equations and Operator Theory, 1993
The aim of this paper is to formulate analogues of certain known assertions of the finite dimensional theory connected with the solvability of systems of equations and with the description of solutions, like the theorems of Osgood and Remmert, to the case of holomorphic Fredholm mappings of Banach analytic manifolds.

Pseudodifferentia Equations on Manifolds with Boundary: Fredholm Property and Asymptotic

Mathematische Nachrichten, 2001
Systems of pseudodifferential equations with symbols from extended Hörmander classes on a manifold with smooth boundary are studied in anisotropic weighted Bessel potential spaces. A general Fredholm criterion is obtained by using factorization of the corresponding symbol. Asymptotic solutions are studied.

Semi-Fredholm Properties of Certain Singular Integral Operators

1996
A necessary and sufficient condition is established for n- and d- normality of singular integral operators P ++GP_ with G being an almost periodic matrix function with absolutely convergent Fourier series. This result is used to develop the semi-Fredholm theory in case G is semi almost periodic, but its asymptotics at ±∞ is described by almost periodic

Fredholm Properties of Unbounded Operators on Interpolation Spaces

2009
We study Fredholm properties and properties on the continuous invertibility of unbounded operators S 0 , S 1 , S △ and S Σ , which are connected to a linear operator between compatible couples. If S 0 and S 1 are everywhere defined and bounded, then we obtain the operators usually considered in the classical interpolation theory.
