Ultrafast (1‐5 sec) Lamination of Perovskite Solar Cells With Self‐Encapsulation Using Rapid Joule Heating

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Technologies, EarlyView.
Halide perovskite solar cells are fabricated with self‐encapsulation by lamination between two glass substrates using rapid Joule heating, yielding a 99% reduction in lamination time compared to previous studies. An 18% efficient cell is laminated in 5 s, demonstrating the potential for scalable manufacturing. ABSTRACT Perovskite solar cells (PSCs) are

In Situ Copper Electroplating Turns Material Extrusion 3D Printers Into Metal–Polymer Hybrid Fabricators

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Technologies, EarlyView.
An in situ electroplating approach for MEX 3D printing is proposed, enabling copper deposition during the fabrication of conductive polymers. The method combines a printer‐integrated plating head, ML‐based g‐code control, and stop‐and‐go printing, achieving near‐bulk copper conductivity and enabling fully embedded, assembly‐free electronic components ...

Installation and airspeed effects on jet shock-associated noise [PDF]

open access: yes
Experimental acoustic data are presented to illustrate, at model scale, the effect of varying the nozzle-wing installation on shock-associated noise, statically and with airspeed. The variation in installations included nozzle only, nozzle under-the-wing

Oscillatory flow through a porous medium by the presence of free convective flow

open access: yesInternational Journal of Engineering Science, 1985
The purpose of this work is to study the effect of non-constant 2- dimensional free convective flow during the motion of a viscous incompressible fluid through a highly porous medium. The porous medium is bounded by a vertical plane surface of constant temperature.

Numerical Modeling of Photothermal Self‐Excited Composite Oscillators

open access: yesAdvanced Robotics Research, EarlyView.
We present a numerical framework for simulating photothermal self‐excited oscillations. The driving mechanism is elucidated by highlighting the roles of inertia and overshoot, as well as the phase lag between the thermal moment and the oscillation angle, which together construct the feedback loop between the system state and the environmental stimulus.
