Spline Computation for Solving Magnetohidrodynamics Free Convection Flow [PDF]

open access: yesINTERNATIONAL JOURNAL OF COMPUTERS & TECHNOLOGY, 2013
In this paper, we construct numerical algorithms for solving Magnetohidrodynamics(MHD) free convection flow rate whichhas been discussed in detail. It is observed that, for a nonlinear system of differential equation, the spline model of ninedegree is used, effectiveness and accuracy of this new method are presented. Several theorems relating the order

Unsteady hydromagnetic free convective flow through a porous medium

open access: yesLetters in Heat and Mass Transfer, 1982
Abstract Unsteady two-dimensional hydromagnetic free convective flow through a porous medium bounded by a vertical infinite plate is considered. Expressions for the velocity and temperature field are obtained. The influence of the various parameters entering into the problem on the velocity field are discussed.

Composition‐Tuned Enhancement of the Anomalous Nernst Effect in FeCo–Pt Thin Films on Rigid and Flexible Substrates

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
Disordered (Fe50Co50)1−xPtx thin films exhibit a pronounced anomalous Nernst effect (ANE) with a strong composition dependence on both rigid and flexible substrates. The transverse thermoelectric response peaks near 22.5 at.% Pt, accompanied by enhanced αxy/σxy scaling, thermal transport, and ANE sensitivity.

Transitions in turbulent rotating Rayleigh-B\'enard convection

open access: yes, 2010
Numerical simulations of rotating Rayleigh-B\'enard convection are presented for both no slip and free slip boundaries. The goal is to find a criterion distinguishing convective flows dominated by the Coriolis force from those nearly unaffected by ...

On the relevance of bubbles and potential flows for stellar convection [PDF]

open access: yes, 2016
Recently Pasetto et al. have proposed a new method to derive a convection theory appropriate for the implementation in stellar evolution codes. Their approach is based on the simple physical picture of spherical bubbles moving within a potential flow in ...

MHD unsteady free convective flow through a porous medium

open access: yesInternational Journal of Energy Research, 1983
The two dimensional unsteady free convective flow through a porous medium bounded by an infinite vertical plate for an incompressible viscous and electrically conducting fluid is considered, when the flow is subjected to the action of a uniform transverse magnetic field.

Unsteady hydromagnetic-free convection flow with suction/injection [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Taibah University for Science, 2018
This article analyses the unsteady hydromagnetic free convection flow near impulsive as well as accelerated motion of the infinite vertical porous plate. The governing momentum and energy partial differential equations exhibiting the physics of the flow formation are presented.
