Abstract The behavior of a mixture of amino acids in a soil environment was studied. Extractions were made with 80% ethanol. The extract was concentrated and then was analyzed for amino acids by gradient elution chromatography.

茶の品質と密接な関係を持つと考えられる茶葉中の遊離アミノ酸類含量を,1 ,2 ,3番の初,中,後期試料及び1番茶期,新梢の1芯1葉, 2葉, 3葉, 4, 5葉,茎及び古葉の葉位別試料について微生物定量法により測定し,又従来論じられている摘採条件即ち摘採茶期及び部位と茶品質との関係についても考察を加えた. I. 遊離アミノ酸類の茶期別消長 (1) 遊離アミノ酸含量の多いのはやはり1番茶初期のものであり,特にテアニン,グルタミン酸の量は著しい.2, 3番茶と進むにつれて各アミノ酸とも減少するが,上記テアニン,グルタミン酸をはじめとして,含量の割合い高いアスパラギン酸,アルギニン,アラニン等についてはこの傾向が著しい.

野草の遊離アミノ酸の分布をペーバークロマトグラフ法によつて調べ, エゾヨモギ葉で18種, 同茎で15種, クサソテツで12種, キスゲで13種, シロツメクサ葉で17種, 同茎で11種, フキノトオで19種, キスゲで13種のアミノ酸の存在を認めた。葉と茎に分けた場合, 葉に確認されるアミノ酸の種類が多い。量的な差としては葉部にセリン, スレオニンのオキシアミノ酸が多いことを認めた。本研究についてお協力を頂いた化学教室渡部俊夫助教授に深く感謝する。
