Rheocasting versus Die Casting: An Insight into the Low‐Cycle Fatigue Behavior of AlSi7Mg0.6
The study compares rheocast lightweight components with high‐pressure die cast materials regarding microstructure and fatigue behavior. Rheocast process offers higher efficiency due to lower casting temperatures. Despite some microstructural differences, both processes show similar strengths (yield strength 125 MPa, tensile strength 240 MPa).

Can Ti‐Based MXenes Serve as Solid Lubricants for Brake Applications? A Tribological Study
This study explores the first implementation of Ti‐based MXenes materials in brake pad friction composite material. The resulting composite material exhibits a 48% reduction in the wear rate; alongside significant improvements are observed for thermal and mechanical properties.

Propagating elastic vibrations dominate thermal conduction in amorphous silicon [PDF]
Thermal atomic vibrations in amorphous solids can be distinguished by whether they propagate as elastic waves or do not propagate due to lack of atomic periodicity.

Free and Forced Vibrations of Periodic Multispan Beams
In this study, the following two topics are considered for uniform multispan beams of both finite and infinite lengths with rigid transversal and elastic rotational constraints at each support: (a) free vibration and the associated frequencies and mode ...

Free vibrations of delaminated beams [PDF]
Free vibration of laminated composite beams is studied. The effect of interply delaminations on natural frequencies and mode shapes is evaluated both analytically and experimentally.

A wood‐based magnetic and conductive material called Magwood (MW), capable of blocking almost 99.99% of electromagnetic waves (in the X‐band frequency range), is synthesized using a simple, solvent‐free process. MW is lightweight, resists water, and is flame‐retardant, making it a promising alternative for shielding electronics. The rapid proliferation

A STUDY REGARDING THE DAMPING CAPACITY OF COMPOSITE BARS REINFORCED WITH FIBER GLASS AND THE MATRIX MADE WITH AMBRESIT [PDF]
In this paper, we have built some composite bars with the reinforcement made by fiber glass which is randomly disposed and the matrix made by ambresit. Then, in order to study the samples free vibrations, we have clamped the bars at one end and we left
