An analysis of implementation of Taguchi method to improve production of pulp on hydrapulper milling

open access: yesInternational Journal of Production Management and Engineering, 2019
: Taguchi method is one of a design of experimental (DOE), by  using statistical approach to optimize the process parameters and maintaining the minimum variability and also improve the quality of product.  Based on data characterisation, Nominal is Best

Improvement of the properties of Poplar chemi-mechanical newsprint through controlling process parameters [PDF]

open access: yesتحقیقات علوم چوب و کاغذ ایران, 2018
One of the drawbacks of utilizing non-forest fast growing species of Poplar as raw materials to produce newsprint in Mazandran Pulp and Paper Mill is fairly low bulk and opacity of produced paper at the yield of 85% (current CMP yield of the Mill).

Effectiveness of a Novel Low‐Density Lipoprotein Apheresis Device Rheocarna in Patients Undergoing Hemodialysis With Chronic Limb‐Threatening Ischemia: A Single‐Center Retrospective Study

open access: yesTherapeutic Apheresis and Dialysis, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background Chronic limb‐threatening ischemia (CLTI) is a severe form of lower‐extremity artery disease characterized by distal lesions and microcirculatory impairment, limiting revascularization efficacy. Rheocarna is a direct hemoperfusion low‐density lipoprotein (LDL) adsorption device with potential rheological and anti‐inflammatory ...

On the freeness of hypersurface arrangements consisting of hyperplanes and spheres

open access: yesOpen Mathematics, 2018
Let V be a smooth variety. A hypersurface arrangement 𝓜 in V is a union of smooth hypersurfaces, which locally looks like a union of hyperplanes. We say 𝓜 is free if all these local models can be chosen to be free hyperplane arrangements.

Some counterexamples for (strong) persistence property and (nearly) normally torsion-freeness

open access: yesExamples and Counterexamples, 2023
In this article, we present some rare counterexamples, which are related to (strong) persistence property and (nearly) normally torsion-freeness of monomial ideals.

BMR Freeness for Icosahedral Family [PDF]

open access: yesExperimental Mathematics, 2018
We verify the Broué-Malle-Rouquier (BMR) freeness for cyclotomic Hecke algebras associated with complex reflection groups $G_{17}$, $G_{18}$, $G_{19}$ in the Shephard-Todd classification. Together with results of Ariki, Ariki-Koike, Broué-Malle, Marin, Marin-Pfeiffer and Chavli, this settled affirmatively the BMR freeness conjecture.

Prognosis of Long‐Term Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy and the Impact of Combined Continuous Intravenous Sodium Infusion Therapy

open access: yesTherapeutic Apheresis and Dialysis, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Introduction Patients requiring long‐term continuous renal replacement therapy (CRRT) generally have poor prognoses. This study evaluated whether adding continuous intravenous sodium infusion (cIVNa) is associated with improved hemodynamics and outcomes in patients undergoing long‐term CRRT for ≥ 7 days.

Independent sequences and freeness criteria

open access: yes, 2023
International audienceLet M be a module over a Noetherian local ring A. We study M-independent sequences of elements of m A in the sense of Lech and Hanes.

Testing C_k-Freeness in Bounded Admissibility Graphs [PDF]

open access: yes
We study C_k-freeness in sparse graphs from a property testing perspective, specifically for graph classes with bounded r-admissibility. Our work is motivated by the large gap between upper and lower bounds in this area: C_k-freeness is known to be ...

Comparative Analysis of Ultra-Fine Bar Refining and Valley Beating on Softwood and Hardwood Kraft Pulps: Implications for Fiber Integrity and Paper Strength Enhancement

open access: yesApplied Sciences
This study compared the effects of refining with an ultra-fine bar plate and Valley beating on softwood (SwBKP) and hardwood (HwBKP) bleached kraft pulps.
