La végétation du Massif Central depuis 15 000 ans (The history of the vegetation in the Massif Central for 15000 years)

open access: yes, 1991
. - This paper is a synthesis of the history of vegetation at Late - and Postglacial times in the french Massif Central, after pollen analysis. It contents the diagram of Ribains (Haute-Loire, fig. 1), and the history of some major arboreal taxa (fig. 2).

Le bloc-diagramme : une clé de compréhension des représentations du paysage chez les agriculteurs ? Mise au point d’une méthode d’enquête préalable à une gestion concertée du paysage en Artense (Massif central français)

open access: yesCybergeo, 2000
3D diagrams that sum up the different kinds of landscape of the middle mountain plateau of Artense (French Massif Central) have been used to analyze landscape opinion of 5 farmers living in this area.

Rare-metal mineralization and crust-derived magmatism in a collisional orogen: the Variscan metallogenic odyssey of the Sioule region (French Massif Central)

open access: yesBSGF - Earth Sciences Bulletin
The Sioule region in the northern part of the French Massif Central of the Variscan belt hosts the Echassières complex, where a large W(-Sn) quartz vein system was intruded by the Beauvoir rare-metal granite (RMG) hosting disseminated Sn, Nb-Ta and Li ...

Simulation of land use evolution by discrete events method: Application to “la chaîne des puys” from XV to XVIII Century

open access: yesDiscrete Dynamics in Nature and Society, 1998
By using a discrete event method, simulation of land use evolution has been applied to a landscape model of “la ChaÎne des Puys” (French Massif Central) during along period (XV–XVIII centuries). The indications concerning the evolution of land use are in

Methionine Synthase Interacts With the Methionine Adenosyl‐Transferase MATα2 and the DNA Methyltransferase DNMT3b in the Nucleus

open access: yesJournal of Inherited Metabolic Disease, Volume 49, Issue 4, July 2026.
This study shows that methionine synthase (MS) interacts with MATα2, responsible for SAM production, and the methyltransferase DNMT3b in the nucleus. These results support the idea that spatial compartmentalization of one‐carbon metabolism could play a major role in regulating the epigenome.

Deep Long Period Earthquakes Beneath Volcanoes of the French Massif Central

open access: yesGeophysical Research Letters
Abstract The recent installation of new broadband seismic stations in the French Massif Central (FMC) has resulted in the detection of a few “deep” earthquakes located near the crust‐mantle boundary beneath volcanic regions. Analysis of the spectral content of the respective waveforms has shown that the spectra of these “deep ...

Phylogeny and Species Delimitation in the Land Snail Genus Chilostoma (Gastropoda: Helicidae) and East–West Alpine Disjunctions

open access: yesZoologica Scripta, Volume 55, Issue 4, Page 589-601, July 2026.
ABSTRACT Chilostoma includes large, mostly rock‐dwelling snail species, widespread in the European Alps and the Apennines in Italy. We analysed the phylogenetic relationships and the species delimitation of the Chilostoma (Chilostoma) species based on genomic ddRAD loci. The Chilostoma (Chilostoma) taxa form three sister pairs. Chilostoma achates and C.
