Ecology and Evolution, Volume 16, Issue 3, March 2026.This study investigates how early‐life thermal environments affect later thermal tolerance in the black‐lip pearl oyster, Pinctada margaritifera. Developmental thermal priming had contrasting, family‐specific effects on thermal tolerance, with conserved stress‐response pathways but evidence of priming‐induced regulatory network reorganization.
