Frequency-comb-induced radiation pressure force in dense atomic clouds
We investigate the frequency comb induced radiation pressure force acting on a cloud of cold $^{87}$Rb atoms. Reduction and spectral broadening of the frequency comb force are observed as the cloud's optical thickness is increased.

We show theoretically that it is feasible to generate a spectrally broad Kerr frequency comb consisting of several spectral clusters phase matched due to interplay among second- and higher-order group velocity dispersion contributions. We validate the theoretical analysis experimentally by driving a magnesium fluoride resonator, characterized with 110 ...

Studying the effect of fluctuating environment on intra-atomic frequency comb based quantum memory
In this article, we study the effect of various environmental factors on intra-atomic frequency comb (I-AFC) based quantum memory. The effect of the environment is incorporated as random fluctuations and non-uniformity in the parameters such as comb ...

Simple single-section diode frequency combs
Frequency combs, broadband light sources whose spectra consist of coherent, discrete modes, have become essential in many fields. Miniaturizing frequency combs would be a significant advance in these fields, enabling the deployment of frequency-comb ...

Interferometry with optical frequency combs
A frequency comb, a spectrum of equidistant phase-coherent laser lines, can be harnessed for new approaches to interferometry. The dual-comb interferometer exploits the time-domain interference between two combs of slightly different line spacing. The instrument, which performs direct frequency measurements over a broad spectral bandwidth, opens up new

Laser Spectroscopy and Frequency Combs
The spectrum of a frequency comb, commonly generated by a mode-locked femtosecond laser consists of several hundred thousand precisely evenly spaced spectral lines. Such laser frequency combs have revolutionized the art measuring the frequency of light, and they provide the long-missing clockwork for optical atomic clocks.
