Frequency diverse array with beam scanning feature
2008 IEEE Antennas and Propagation Society International Symposium, 2008In this paper, the radiation characteristics of frequency diverse array (FDA) are explored by EM simulation. An intuitive beam scanning feature is observed from the transient field simulation results. The scanning speed is proved to be related to the frequency increment between two neighboring elements.

Comparison of Frequency Diverse Array Patterns with Nonuniform Frequency Offset
2020 IEEE MTT-S International Wireless Symposium (IWS), 2020Frequency Diverse Array (FDA) radar is a new type of radar technology proposed in recent years. It generates a range-dependent beampattern through a small frequency increment among the antenna elements, which overcomes the weakness of phased-array in this respect, so it has many potential applications.
