Exact BER Analysis of OFDM Systems Communicating over Frequency-Selective Fading Channels Subjected to Carrier Frequency Offset [PDF]
Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM) has been employed in numerous wireless standards. However, the performance of OFDM systems is degraded by both the Carrier Frequency Offset (CFO) and the Phase Estimation Error (PER).

Gut microbiome and aging—A dynamic interplay of microbes, metabolites, and the immune system
Age‐dependent shifts in microbial communities engender shifts in microbial metabolite profiles. These in turn drive shifts in barrier surface permeability of the gut and brain and induce immune activation. When paired with preexisting age‐related chronic inflammation this increases the risk of neuroinflammation and neurodegenerative diseases.

Frequency hopped CDMA for third generation mobile radio systems [PDF]
Third generation mobile radio systems will provide unified mobile access to a wide range of services for the mass user market. Code division multiple access (CDMA) is one of the most viable access techniques to provide the flexible air interface required.

Biomolecular condensates formed by fused in sarcoma (FUS) are dissolved by high ATP concentrations yet persist in cells. Using a reconstituted system, we demonstrate that valosin‐containing protein (VCP), an AAA+ ATPase, counteracts ATP‐driven dissolution of FUS condensates through its D2 ATPase activity.

Frequency and phase locking of laser cavity solitons [PDF]
Self-localized states or dissipative solitons have the freedom of translation in systems with a homogeneous background. When compared to cavity solitons in coherently driven nonlinear optical systems, laser cavity solitons have the additional freedom of ...

Frequency Diversity Array for DOA Estimation [PDF]
The localization of targets has been presented in this article. DOA (Direction of Arrival) is an important parameter to be determined by radar. The MLE (Maximum Likelihood Estimator) has been widely used to accurately and efficiently estimate the DOAs ...

Diversity and complexity in neural organoids
Neural organoid research aims to expand genetic diversity on one side and increase tissue complexity on the other. Chimeroids integrate multiple donor genomes within single organoids. Self‐organising multi‐identity organoids, exogenous cell seeding, or enforced assembly of region‐specific organoids contribute to tissue complexity.

Hyperosmotic stress induces PARP1‐mediated HPF1‐dependent mono(ADP‐ribosyl)ation
Sorbitol‐induced hyperosmotic stress rapidly induces reversible mono(ADP‐ribosyl)ation (MARylation) on PARP1 without the signs of genotoxic signaling. We show that PARP1 autoMARylation is HPF1 dependent and forms hydroxylamine‐resistant O‐glycosidic linkages.

Adaptive frequency-domain equalization for single-carrier MIMO systems [PDF]
Channel estimation and tracking pose real problems in wideband single-carrier wireless communication systems employing multiple transmit and receive antennas. An alternative to estimating the channel is to adaptively equalize the received symbols.

Perbandingan Penggunaan Teknik Diversity pada Jaringan Gelombang Mikro di Lingkungan Danau
Microwave communication system is often implemented as a network cellular backhaul, due to its simplicity of installation and capability to reach remote areas which are difficult to reach using fiber optics. This paper compares the microwave network with
