Somatic mutational landscape in von Hippel–Lindau familial hemangioblastoma

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
The causes of central nervous system (CNS) hemangioblastoma in Von Hippel–Lindau (vHL) disease are unclear. We used Whole Exome Sequencing (WES) on familial hemangioblastoma to investigate events that underlie tumor development. Our findings suggest that VHL loss creates a permissive environment for tumor formation, while additional alterations ...

Time-frequency Domain Analysis of an Automobile Transmission

open access: yesJixie chuandong, 2017
As a whole, the automobile transmission producing vibration and noise is an inevitable result under the action of exciting force, the bearing, shaft and box has influence on the vibration and noise of the gearbox.

Dynamic Tests on a Concrete Slab with a Tuned Mass Damper

open access: yesMATEC Web of Conferences, 2015
Nowadays, structures became more slender and flexible due to lighter materials with great resistance, compared to traditional materials used in construction. This fact provides to structural systems with low natural frequencies. High amplitude vibrations

Frequency-domain analysis of biomolecular sequences [PDF]

open access: yesBioinformatics, 2000
Abstract Motivation: Frequency-domain analysis of biomolecular sequences is hindered by their representation as strings of characters. If numerical values are assigned to each of these characters, then the resulting numerical sequences are readily amenable to digital signal processing.

Hippo pathway at the crossroads of stemness and therapeutic resistance in breast cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Dysregulation of the Hippo pathway drives nuclear accumulation of YAP/TAZ, activating stemness‐related transcriptional programs that sustain breast cancer stemness and fuel therapeutic resistance across subtypes, underscoring Hippo signaling as a targetable vulnerability. Figure created and edited with BioRender.com.

Frequency Domain Analysis of Lossy and Non-Uniform Twisted Wire Pair

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2019
In the study of the frequency domain crosstalk for twisted pair, the traditional alternating inversion model is often built under the ideal condition of lossless and uniform media, ignoring the length of the twisted section.

CD47 promotes mitogen‐activated protein kinase and epithelial‐to‐mesenchymal transition molecular programs to drive prometastatic phenotypes in non‐small cell lung cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Beyond its role in immune evasion, this study identified that CD47 drives tumor‐intrinsic signaling in non‐small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). Transcriptomic profiling and functional studies revealed that CD47 regulates cell adhesion, migration, and metastasis through an ERK–EMT signaling axis.

KDM7A and KDM1A inhibition suppresses tumour promoting pathways in prostate cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Treatment resistance is a major challenge for patients with advanced prostate cancer. This study examined an alternative approach to target the major prostate cancer‐promoting pathway by targeting epigenetic factors, whose levels are higher in tumours.

Heterozygous loss‐of‐function alleles associate the conserved 3′‐5′ exoribonuclease EXOSC10 with hypersensitivity to the anticancer drug 5‐fluorouracil

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
EXOSC10, an essential nuclear RNA exosome‐associated 3′‐5′ exoribonuclease, is inhibited by the anticancer drug 5‐fluorouracil (5‐FU), and EXOSC10 depletion increases 5‐FU sensitivity. The colon‐cancer variant EXOSC10S402T, located in a proteolysis motif, is stable and nuclear but nonfunctional in vivo.

Convergence Analysis of EFOP Estimate Based on Frequency Domain Smoothing

open access: yesJournal of Applied Mathematics, 2013
The classic methods for frequency domain transfer function estimation such as the Empirical Transfer Function Estimate (ETFE) and cross spectral method do not work well when the noise signal is complex.
