Frequency-Hopped Signal Source Identification in Frequency-Selective Channels
IEEE Transactions on Aerospace and Electronic Systems, 2019Blind source separation of frequency-hopped signals is a challenging problem for cases involving multipath exhibiting temporal and angular spread. A novel solution is proposed that exploits polarization-frequency correlation to separate signals, enabling association of hopped signal in these adverse conditions.

Optimal noncoherent frequency detection of differential frequency hopping signal
2010 IEEE International Conference on Wireless Communications, Networking and Information Security, 2010Based on discrete sampling model of differential frequency hopping (DFH) received signal, optimal noncoherent frequency detection of DFH signal in additive white Gaussian noise(AWGN) has been provided. According to DFH principle, bit error ratio (BER) performance of DFH is achieved.

A New Hop Duration Blind Estimation Algorithm for Frequency-Hopping Signals
2008 IEEE Pacific-Asia Workshop on Computational Intelligence and Industrial Application, 2008The key to jam frequency-hopping communication is to estimate its parameters efficiently and precisely. An algorithm for estimating the hop duration of frequency hopping (FH) signals based on multi-window partially overlapped reassigned smoothed pseudo WVD (RSPWVD) and adaptive threshold detection technique is proposed.

Detection of Frequency-Hop Signals
MILCOM 1986 - IEEE Military Communications Conference: Communications-Computers: Teamed for the 90's, 1986This paper examines the performance and trade-offs associated with detecting frequency-hop signals by means of multiple observations in the presence of narrowband interfering signals. An adaptive algorithm is proposed for utilizing the outputs from a parallel filter bank observed over a number of time intervals to make decisions on the presence of one ...

Cyclic Spectral Analysis of Frequency Hopping Signals
2005 IEEE 16th International Symposium on Personal, Indoor and Mobile Radio Communications, 2006A new, matrix-based, stochastic method for the cyclic spectral analysis of frequency hopping signals (FH), based on Markov chain signal representation, is proposed. By applying the suggested technique, explicit expression for the cyclic spectrum of FH/MFSK signals is obtained.

Signal Strength Seeded Frequency Hopping
2010 Second International Conference on Computer and Network Technology, 2010One approach to securing radio signals in wireless sensor networks is frequency hopping in which transmitters and receivers change frequencies at a predetermined interval using a pattern of frequencies that is programmed a priori or calculated dynamically via ashared seeding mechanism. For these systems, if an adversary can physically capture a node in

An Improved Rife Algorithm of Frequency Estimation for Frequency-Hopping Signal
2016In this paper we analysis the performance of Rife algorithm and point out that the performance is poor when the true frequency is much close to quantized frequency of FFT. Aiming at this problem, an improved Rife algorithm is presented. This algorithm can make the signal frequency always located in the center between the two neighboring discrete ...

Subspace Compressive Frequency Estimation of Frequency Hopping Signal
2009 5th International Conference on Wireless Communications, Networking and Mobile Computing, 2009Compressive sensing (CS) creates a new framework of signal reconstruction or approximation from a smaller set of incoherent projection compared with the traditional Nyquist-rate sampling theory. Recently, it has been shown that CS can solve some signal processing problems given incoherent measurements without ever reconstructing the signals.

A hopping phase estimator for frequency hopped FM/BFSK signals
The 18th IEEE International Symposium on Consumer Electronics (ISCE 2014), 2014We proposed a hopping phase estimator to demodulate the received signals without any information with respect to hopped frequency in frequency hopping spread spectrum systems. We deal with signals modulated as frequency modulation (FM) or binary frequency shift keying (BFSK) and hopped by frequency predetermined random sequence.
