A Novel Technique for Load Frequency Control of Multi-Area Power Systems [PDF]
In this paper, an adaptive type-2 fuzzy controller is proposed to control the load frequency of a two-area power system based on descending gradient training and error back-propagation. The dynamics of the system are completely uncertain.

Operational reliability assessment considering independency between wind power ramps and frequency sensitive loads [PDF]
With the increasing wind power penetration, power system frequency is more vulnerable especially when gust wind periods. Frequency control is used to restore system frequency back to the rated value.

Frequency‐independent Sound Absorbing Metamaterials
AbstractInspired by the concept of frequency‐independent antennas in the electromagnetics, which theoretically exhibit a frequency‐independent bandwidth, this paper extends the concept to acoustics by adopting a log‐spiral and its modified shape to introduce a class of metamaterials called frequency‐independent sound‐absorbing metamaterials.

A Frequency Independent Phase Shifter
A frequency-independent phase shift is determined such that two phase shifted versions of a signal can be summed whereby the resulting amplitude spectrum is unchanged. A phase difference between two signals is thus defined which remains constant for all frequencies within a given range.
