Transformation of the frequency-modulated continuous-wave field into a train of short pulses by resonant filters [PDF]
The resonant filtering method transforming frequency modulated radiation field into a train of short pulses is proposed to apply in optical domain. Effective frequency modulation can be achieved by electro-optic modulator or by resonant frequency modulation of the filter with a narrow absorption line.

Method and apparatus for quadriphase-shift-key and linear phase modulation [PDF]
A submultiple of an S-band transmitter output frequency was divided equally between a linear phase modulation branch and a QPSK modulation branch. The linear modulation branch includes a multiplier to increase the carrier frequency to a level which, when

Insights into PI3K/AKT signaling in B cell development and chronic lymphocytic leukemia
This Review explores how the phosphoinositide 3‐kinase and protein kinase B pathway shapes B cell development and drives chronic lymphocytic leukemia, a common blood cancer. It examines how signaling levels affect disease progression, addresses treatment challenges, and introduces novel experimental strategies to improve therapies and patient outcomes.

Space scanning FMCW-based two-dimensional frequency diverse array radar
The frequency-modulated continuous wave (FMCW)-based frequency diverse array (FDA) radar concept is extended to two dimensions (2D). The radar operates as a linear pulsed FMCW/FDA in the transmission (TX) mode while it operates as a pulsed FMCW/phased ...

Frequency shift keying in vortex-based spin torque oscillators
Vortex-based spin-torque oscillators can be made from extended spin valves connected to an electrical nanocontact. We study the implementation of frequency shift keying modulation in these oscillators.

Making tau amyloid models in vitro: a crucial and underestimated challenge
This review highlights the challenges of producing in vitro amyloid assemblies of the tau protein. We review how accurately the existing protocols mimic tau deposits found in the brain of patients affected with tauopathies. We discuss the important properties that should be considered when forming amyloids and the benchmarks that should be used to ...

Design and characteristic analysis of hybrid OFD–LFM–PC waveforms in the MIMO radar
In this study, a new set of hybrid orthogonal frequency division–linear frequency modulation–phase coded (OFD–LFM–PC) waveforms are proposed to improve the detection performance of multiple-input-multiple-output (MIMO) radars.
