Frequency Regulation by Electric Vehicle

2018 International Conference on Current Trends towards Converging Technologies (ICCTCT), 2018
Electric vehicles (EVs), connected to the grid, acts as a distributed load or distributed storage. Integration of EVs into microgrid is able to provide many services like ancillary services, active power control, reactive power compensation and specially frequency regulation.

An advanced virtual synchronous generator control technique for frequency regulation of grid-connected PV system

, 2021
The future power system is developing to an inverter-based system from a machine dominated power system due to a large integration of renewable energy sources (RESs). Lack of inertial part and intermittency of the RESs causes frequency instability in the

Frequency encoding in renal blood flow regulation

American Journal of Physiology-Regulatory, Integrative and Comparative Physiology, 2005
With a model of renal blood flow regulation, we examined consequences of tubuloglomerular feedback (TGF) coupling to the myogenic mechanism via voltage-gated Ca channels. The model reproduces the characteristic oscillations of the two mechanisms and predicts frequency and amplitude modulation of the myogenic oscillation by TGF.
