A novel method of frequency regulation in microgrid

2016 IEEE 7th Power India International Conference (PIICON), 2016
Owing to generation and demand mismatch in a micro-grid, the frequency deviation and the rate of change of frequency (ROCOF) may become drastic at times. This is due to increased penetration of renewable energy sources that brings down the system inertia.

Participation of Microgrids in Frequency Regulation Markets

2018 Annual American Control Conference (ACC), 2018
The increasing ubiquity of distributed energy resources (DERs) in the power grid provides an opportunity for them to collectively participate in frequency regulation. In this paper, we propose a framework for the participation of microgrids, each acting as an aggregator of certain number of DERs, in the frequency regulation market when operating in ...

A Precision Audio-Frequency Voltage Regulator

Instrumentation Science & Technology, 1971
Abstract : A source of precisely known alternating voltages is described. The output remains constant to within 0.1% for variation of plus or minus 40% in the input voltage (frequencies between 30 Hz and 4 kHz). The principle of operation is based on negative feedback, using a light-emitting diode and photosensitive resistor to control the gain.

BigData and regulation in high frequency trading

Proceedings of the 2017 International Conference on Cloud and Big Data Computing, 2017
In this article, we are defining a proposed architecture that can resolve the main problem of high frequency trading which is the maturity level of financial data used by robot trader. The volume of markets data which comes every fragment of second, has caused a fatal problem in decision making on market.

The neural regulation of circulation explored in the frequency domain

Journal of the Autonomic Nervous System, 1990
The neural regulation of circulation has mainly been explored on the basis of the phasic reflex changes that it undergoes when a disturbance is imposed upon the system. This approach brought to the artificial fragmentation of the whole regulatory network into a legion of presumed simple reflexes and to the subsequent attempt to reconstitute a unitary ...

Cases of CFPID regulator for frequency regulation of power systems

Journal of Statistics & Management Systems, 2023
In consistently expanding region and construction of present-day Power System having trouble request vulnerabilities, the utilization of learned and lively recurrence power technique is fundamental for good working of Power-station. To enhanced regulator boundaries, a SCiWOA has been utilized. Frequency soundness and control are perhaps the main issues
