An Active Frequency Selective Surface Design Having Four Different Switchable Frequency Characteristics [PDF]
Mutual interference between indoor adjacent wireless networks is becoming an important issue due to reducing the communication speed significantly. Controlling the isolation of wireless networks by using frequency selective surfaces (FSSs) can be an ...

Investigating transcription factor dynamics in health and disease using FRAP
FRAP analysis of GFP‐tagged transcription factors reveals how molecular mobility and target engagement change in response to drug treatment. By combining live‐cell imaging, quantitative model fitting, and statistical analysis, this approach uncovers transcription factor dynamics linked to disease mechanisms, providing a powerful framework for ...

Conserved binding mode but diverse interfaces of MreC‐PBP2 interactions
The crystal structure of abMreC reveals a conserved two β‐barrel architecture and provides structural insights into its role within the bacterial elongasome. The abMreC–abPBP2 complex model identifies the molecular basis of MreC‐mediated PBP2 recognition, contributing to the regulation of peptidoglycan synthesis.

Identification of the plant mitochondrial OrfX protein: A mass spectrometry approach
The mitochondrial genome of plants contains an open reading frame, orfx, which encodes a rare protein that has so far escaped mass spectrometric detection. The protein resembles the c‐subunit of bacterial twin‐arginine‐motif‐dependent protein translocases (TatC).

CHARACTERIZATION OF A SUB-MM WAVE FREQUENCY SELECTIVE SURFACE ON A PERIODICALLY PERFORATED SILICON SUBSTRATE [PDF]
We carried out measurements of optical transmission through a Frequency Selective Surface (FSS) on a silicon substrate perforated periodically with square cavities of 1 mm².

A Frequency Selective Surface With Miniaturized Elements [PDF]
We demonstrate a new class of bandpass frequency selective surface (FSS), the building block of which, unlike the traditional FSSs, makes use of resonant dipole and slot structures that have dimensions much smaller than the operating wavelength.

Tunable antenna radome based on graphene frequency selective surface
In this paper, a graphene-based frequency selective surface (FSS) is proposed. The proposed FSS exhibits a tunable bandpass filtering characteristic due to the alterable conductivity of the graphene strips which is controlled by chemical potential. Based
