A synthetic benzoxazine dimer derivative targets c‐Myc to inhibit colorectal cancer progression

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Benzoxazine dimer derivatives bind to the bHLH‐LZ region of c‐Myc, disrupting c‐Myc/MAX complexes, which are evaluated from SAR analysis. This increases ubiquitination and reduces cellular c‐Myc. Impairing DNA repair mechanisms is shown through proteomic analysis.

Dependence of the decoherence of polarization states in phase-damping channels on the frequency spectrum envelope of photons

open access: yes, 2008
We consider the decoherence of photons suffering in phase-damping channels. By exploring the evolutions of single-photon polarization states and two-photon polarization-entangled states, we find that different frequency spectrum envelopes of photons ...

STRUCTURE OF SEA WAVE FREQUENCY SPECTRUM

open access: yesCoastal Engineering Proceedings, 1972
A knowledge of the frequency spectrum is necessary for working a number of applied problems concerning wave parameter calculations, ship rolling, effects of wave loads upon sea structures and so on. According to the data of work /1/ the frequency spectrum in deep sea may be represented as the following equation: -/ -k BQL) = A/*- exp(-B/tt ) (D The ...

Patient‐specific pharmacogenomics demonstrates xCT as predictive therapeutic target in colon cancer with possible implications in tumor connectivity

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
This study integrates transcriptomic profiling of matched tumor and healthy tissues from 32 colorectal cancer patients with functional validation in patient‐derived organoids, revealing dysregulated metabolic programs driven by overexpressed xCT (SLC7A11) and SLC3A2, identifying an oncogenic cystine/glutamate transporter signature linked to ...

Variation across the allele frequency spectrum

open access: yesNature Genetics, 2010
A new study finds that individuals with high plasma triglyceride levels carry approximately twice as many rare, coding genetic variants within four candidate genes identified through genome-wide association studies than individuals without these high levels.

CDK11 inhibition induces cytoplasmic p21WAF1 splice variant by p53 stabilisation and SF3B1 inactivation

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
CDK11 inhibition stabilises the tumour suppressor p53 and triggers the production of an alternative p21WAF1 splice variant p21L, through the inactivation of the spliceosomal protein SF3B1. Unlike the canonical p21WAF1 protein, p21L is localised in the cytoplasm and has reduced cell cycle‐blocking activity.

Overlapping M-ary Frequency Shift Keying Spread-Spectrum Multiple-Access Systems using Random Signature Sequences

open access: yes, 1999
In this paper, a multiple-access spread-spectrum communication system using binary frequency shift keying (BFSK) or M-ary frequency shift keying (MFSK) and noncoherent demodulation is considered.

Intein‐based modular chimeric antigen receptor platform for specific CD19/CD20 co‐targeting

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
CARtein is a modular CAR platform that uses split inteins to splice antigen‐recognition modules onto a universal signaling backbone, enabling precise, scarless assembly without re‐engineering signaling domains. Deployed here against CD19 and CD20 in B‐cell malignancies, the design supports flexible multi‐antigen targeting to boost T‐cell activation and

Analysis of the Measurements of the Radiated Emission from 9 kHz to 150 kHz from Electric Railways

open access: yesEnergies
The frequency domain measurement of radiated emissions from electric railways (from 9 kHz up to 150 kHz) has been omitted from the main part of the relevant standard (lack of repeatability and reproducibility of the results is mentioned as the reason ...

INCREASE THE ACCURACY OF DETERMINING THE VALUES OF HARMONIC COMPONENTS IN ELECTRICAL SIGNALS

open access: yesИзвестия высших учебных заведений: Проблемы энергетики, 2018
In the work, the urgency of increasing the accuracy of determining the values of the harmonic components in electrical signals is substantiated. It is shown that it is necessary to take into account the nonlinear character of the change in the circuit ...
