Tau acetylation at K331 has limited impact on tau pathology in vivo
We mapped tau post‐translational modifications in humanized MAPT knock‐in mice and in amyloid‐bearing double knock‐in mice. Acetylation within the repeat domain, particularly around K331, showed modest increases under amyloid pathology. To test functional relevance, we generated MAPTK331Q knock‐in mice.

Although the increase in frequency improves the transmission efficiency of high-frequency transformer, a higher probability of insulation failure is caused by high-frequency partial discharges.

Calpain small subunit homodimerization is robust and calcium‐independent
Calpains dimerize via penta‐EF‐hand (PEF) domains. Using single‐molecule force spectroscopy, we measured the strength and kinetics of PEF–PEF homodimer binding. The interaction is robust, shows a transient conformational step before dissociation, and remains largely insensitive to Ca2+.

INTERFERENCE EXCISION IN SPREAD SPECTRUM COMMUNICATION SYSTEMS USING IF ESTIMATION
In this paper, we consider the problem of jammer excision in Spread Spectrum (SS) communication systems. We apply a time--frequency mask obtained by the instantaneous frequency (IF) estimate of the interference signal.

Non-Distorted Optimization Spectrum Analysis
The discrete Fourier transform is extensively applied in spectrum analysis. However, the sampled signal is random, and the discrete Fourier transform has its own specific limitations.

In this paper, a multiple-access spread-spectrum communication system using binary frequency shift keying (BFSK) or M-ary frequency shift keying (MFSK) and noncoherent demodulation is considered.

Diversity and complexity in neural organoids
Neural organoid research aims to expand genetic diversity on one side and increase tissue complexity on the other. Chimeroids integrate multiple donor genomes within single organoids. Self‐organising multi‐identity organoids, exogenous cell seeding, or enforced assembly of region‐specific organoids contribute to tissue complexity.

Analysis of a duffing oscillator that exhibits hysteresis with varying excitation frequency and amplitude [PDF]
Hysteresis, or jump phenomenon, are a common and severe nonlinear behaviour associated with the Duffing oscillator and the multi-valued properties of the response solution.

Plecstatin inhibits hepatocellular carcinoma tumorigenesis and invasion through cytolinker plectin
The ruthenium‐based metallodrug plecstatin exerts its anticancer effect in hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) primarily through selective targeting of plectin. By disrupting plectin‐mediated cytoskeletal organization, plecstatin inhibits anchorage‐dependent growth, cell polarization, and tumor cell dissemination.
