ZEROES OF GENERALIZED FRESNEL COMPLEMENTARY INTEGRAL FUNCTIONS
Theoretical upper and lower bounds are established for zeroes of a parametric family of functions which are defined by integrals of the same type as the Fresnel complementary integral.

Smooth frequency change effects in electrical circuits: explained by the Fresnel integral [PDF]
The paper presents the problem of the relation between ac voltage frequency supplying a circuit and the resulting current frequency in that circuit in the case when the voltage frequency changes smoothly following a $${f}_{{v}}\left(t\right)$$ f v t ...

Orange Peels and Fresnel Integrals [PDF]
There are two standard ways of peeling an orange: either cut the skin along meridians, or cut it along a spiral. We consider here the second method, and study the shape of the spiral strip, when unfolded on a table. We derive a formula that describes the corresponding flattened-out spiral.

Computation of Fresnel integrals. II
This paper describes an improved method for computing Fresnel integrals with an error of less than 1 × 10(-9). The method is based on a known approximate formula for a different integral which is due to Boersma and referenced by Abramowitz and Stegun.

On the Fresnel integrals and the convolution [PDF]
The Fresnel cosine integral C(x), the Fresnel sine integral S(x), and the associated functions C+(x), C−(x), S+(x), and S−(x) are defined as locally summable functions on the real line.

A new representation is developed for the fields excited on a planar dielectric interface by an arbitrarily incident electromagnetic field. The new formulation is obtained by analytically inverting the spatial-domain boundary integral equation (BIE) formulation of the half-space scattering problem.

Two-way ANOVA gage R&R working example applied to speckle intensity statistics due to different random vertical surface roughness characteristics using the Fresnel diffraction integral [PDF]
We present computer simulations of a two-way ANOVA gage R&R study to determine the effects on the average speckle width of intensity patterns caused by scattered light reflected from random rough surfaces with different statistical characteristics.
