Tables for the Friedman rank test

Canadian Journal of Statistics, 1993
AbstractThis note presents tables for Friedman's test for two‐way analysis of variance by ranks. These tables are more accurate than those that are presented in the literature. After intensive simulations, we have found for particular critical values some discrepancies with tables published earlier.

The Effects of Misconceptions on the Properties of Friedman's Test

Communications in Statistics - Simulation and Computation, 2013
Friedman's test is a widely used rank-based alternative to the analysis of variance (ANOVA) F-test for identifying treatment differences in a randomized complete block design. Many texts provide incomplete or misleading information about when Friedman's test may be appropriately applied.

A Modification on the Friedman Test Statistic

Communications in Statistics - Simulation and Computation, 2007
A modification on the well-known, nonparametric Friedman test statistic is suggested in this article. Probability distributions of the suggested test statistic under the null hypothesis are tabulated for some small sample cases. In addition to an example, simulation results for various sample sizes are presented.

On the generalised friedman test

Computational Statistics & Data Analysis, 1996
Abstract Nonparametric methods for two-way analysis of variance were discussed by Rahlfs & Zimmermann (1995). Several points stemming from their paper are now made. The most important of these are that χ 2 is a poor approximation to the null distribution of the test statistic, and so a randomisation test is desirable, and that allowance needs to ...

THE FRIEDMAN TEST AND PITUITARY TUMOR

Endocrinology, 1937
Excessive quantities of urinary prolan have been reported not only in cases of pregnancy (1, 2, 3), but also in the presence of such conditions as malignant chorionepitheliomata (4), hydatid mole (5), or in tumors which contain chorionic tissue, such as teratomata (6).
