Microfluidic Nano‐Assembly of Red‐Blood‐Cell (RBC) Lipids and Components for Engineering Extracellular Vesicles

open access: yesAdvanced Healthcare Materials, EarlyView.
Engineered red blood cell‐derived extracellular vesicles (eRBCEVs) are synthesized via controlled microfluidic assembly from native RBC lipids, enabling tunable encapsulation of proteins, nucleic acids, nanoparticles, and viral vectors. The platform demonstrates reproducible nanoscale architecture, preserved membrane composition, and functional cargo ...

Activity and rotation of Kepler-17 [PDF]

open access: yes, 2017
Magnetic activity on stars manifests itself in the form of dark spots on the stellar surface, which cause modulations of a few percent in the light curve of the star as it rotates.

Directional Flow of Confined Polaritons in CrSBr

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
CrSBr, a layered magnetic semiconductor, naturally channels self‐hybridized excitonpolaritons into highly directional flow. Its intrinsic optical anisotropy, high refractive index, and strong lightmatter coupling enable long‐range guided modes along the a‐axis, with propagation lengths set by their excitonphoton admixture.

A parametric study on the growth of yield front in rotating annular disks

open access: yesInternational Journal of Engineering, Science and Technology, 2010
The growth of elastic-plastic front under post-elastic conditions in high speed rotating annular disks having exponential and parabolic geometry variation is investigated in the present study. The problem is addressed in post-elastic regime through an extension of variational method based on von-Mises yield criterion and linear strain hardening ...

Neuromorphic Electronics for Intelligence Everywhere: Emerging Devices, Flexible Platforms, and Scalable System Architectures

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
The perspective presents an integrated view of neuromorphic technologies, from device physics to real‐time applicability, while highlighting the necessity of full‐stack co‐optimization. By outlining practical hardware‐level strategies to exploit device behavior and mitigate non‐idealities, it shows pathways for building efficient, scalable, and ...

Rotation and translation effects on stereoscopic acuity [PDF]

open access: yes, 1975
This study examined the effects of rotation or translation on the detectability of a dotted target plane embedded in a dotted masking cube. Julesz-type stereograms were generated in real time, using a small laboratory computer.

Ambient Light‐Activatable Luminescent Particle‐Embedded Conformal Patch for Photochemical Tissue Bonding and Photobiomodulated Healing

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
We report a wearable photonic patch integrating room light‐ and sunlight‐activatable luminescent particles (RSLPs) for both photochemical tissue bonding and photobiomodulation. RSLPs harvest ambient light and emit red luminescence to drive chlorin e6–mediated collagen crosslinking.

Analysis of castor wheels rotation of mobile differential drive robot

open access: yesСистемный анализ и прикладная информатика
Mathematical models for controlling centrally oriented and non-centrally oriented rotary wheels of a mobile robot are considered. Based on the analysis of the kinematics of the mobile robot, the dependences of the rotation angle of the rear and front ...

The Influence of Observer's Voluntary Action on Perception of Kinetic Depth Display

open access: yesi-Perception, 2011
A 3D object such as plural points distributed in 3D space appears flat when rear projected onto a translucent screen. Its 3D shape becomes apparent when it is rotated about an axis parallel to the screen (KDE).
