Oligonucleotide‐based fluorescence in situ hybridization probes were developed in the model citrus species Citrus maxima. These probes were applied to comparative karyotyping across 14 species in the Rutaceae family. This analysis revealed chromosomal evolution in lineages that diverged from Citrus nearly 52 million years ago.

The performance of a fruit variety is dependent upon an interaction between the genotype of the plant and the environment in which it is grown. The plant genotype sets the broad limits of production and quality performance, and the prevailing environment determines the performance within the genetically controlled limits of the variety. For this reason,

Haplotype‐Resolved 3D Genomic Landscapes and Their Impacts on Agronomic Traits in Grapevine
This study presents a haplotype‐resolved 3D genomic landscape of grapevine, revealing that structural variations (SVs) are closely associated with phased topologically associating domain (TAD) boundary transitions. These rearrangements coordinate with allele‐specific DNA methylation (ASM) and allele‐biased gene expression (ASE) to shape key agronomic ...

Temperate Fruit Breeding in Brazil
Brazil consumes over 500,000 tons of temperate fruits each year. The most used temperate fruit is the apple, of which about 240,000 tons are consumed annually, followed by the peach with 100,000 tons. The other species of major importance are pear (80,000 tons), fig (45,000 tons), plums (25,000 tons), and nuts (12,000 tons).

SERS Facemask for Rapid and Portable Sensing Mycobacterium Tuberculosis Antigens for TB Screening
Our study introduced an Au─Ag embedded covalent organic framework (U@COF) ‐mediated facemask for sensing TB antigen ESAT‐6/CFP‐10 complex in clinical droplet samples toward TB screening. Practical analysis of clinical samples demonstrated the availability of our facemask, which is capable of identifying the TB subjects (N = 17) from healthy candidates (
