QTL analysis of fruit length using rRAMP, WRKY, and AFLP markers in chili pepper

Horticulture, Environment, and Biotechnology, 2011
A pepper genetic map was constructed from F2 mapping population of 93 individuals from a cross between Capsicum annuum ‘F68’ and C. chinense ‘Habanero’. Surrey was made for the map distribution and polymorphism level of these marker groups; reverse random amplification microsatellite polymorphism (rRAMP), WRKY and amplified fragment length ...

Ccmar1 , a full‐length mariner element from the Mediterranean fruit fly, Ceratitis capitata

Insect Molecular Biology, 1997
Using a PCR primer specific to the ITR sequence of a deleted mariner element we amplified a fragment of ∼1300 bp from the genome of Ceratitis capitata . Analysis of four clones showed that they differed by ∼4.6% in nucleotide sequence and exhibited high

Identification of restriction fragment length polymorphisms linked to genes controlling soluble solids content in tomato fruit

Theoretical and Applied Genetics, 1987
Gene(s) conferring high soluble solids (SS) in tomato fruit had been backcrossed previously from a wild tomato species, Lycopersicon chmielewskii LA1028 (∼ 10% SS), into a L. esculentum cultivar, VF36 (∼ 5% SS), to derive a BC5S5 line, LA1563, similar to 'VF 36' but with 7-8% SS.
