Plant‐Derived Melatonin Inhibits Bacterial Virulence via CpxA/R Two‐Component System
Plant‐derived melatonin is sensed by CpxAE48/T51, which inhibits the phosphorylation cascade transmission from CpxAH240 to CpxRD52, resulting in the inhibition of DNA‐binding capacity of CpxR and subsequent T3SS genes expression in Pst DC3000. ABSTRACT In defending against pathogens, plants deploy diverse secondary metabolites and signaling molecules ...

Nanostructural changes in cell wall pectins during strawberry fruit ripening assessed by atomic force microscopy [PDF]
Rapid loss of firmness occurs during strawberry (Fragaria × ananassa Duch) ripening, resulting in a short shelf life and high economic losses. The disassembly of cell walls is considered the main responsible for fruit softening, being pectins extensively

A novel transcriptional module involving CsYABBY3 and CsAS1 is identified to regulate cannabinoid biosynthesis and trichome development. These factors mutually activate each other and form a protein complex via a conserved residue, acting synergistically to amplify metabolic flux through a coordinate feed‐forward mechanism.

Bioinspired Morphology‐Decoupled Soft Gripper with Enhanced Bidirectional Grasping Capability
Inspired by biological predation, a novel gripper decouples cross‐modal grasping via dual morphological configurations. Synergistically integrating hybrid rigid and soft coupled fingers with a metamaterial palm, the system performs active compliant grasping for static objects and passive cage capture for dynamic targets.

Chutes et tuteurages en bananeraie [PDF]
On constate chaque année aux Antilles françaises que les chutes de bananiers, réparties sur toute l'année avec un maximum aux époques de tornade, font perdre des tonnages importants.

Roots and Fruits of Decoherence
The concept of decoherence is defined, and discussed in a historical context. This is illustrated by some of its essential consequences which may be relevant for the interpretation of quantum theory. Various aspects of the formalism are also reviewed for

Microbial Odorant Detection Guides Drosophila Parasitoids Seeking Hosts in Fermenting Fruits
Yeast microbes in fermenting fruits attract both host flies and their parasitoid wasps. Female Leptopilina boulardi detect yeast‐emitted ethyl esters via two olfactory receptors, LbouOR167 and LbouOR136. A conserved residue, Leu159, is critical for binding these compounds, enabling female wasps to locate host‐rich habitats.
