Comparison of clinical outcome of small-incision lenticule intrastromal keratoplasty and FS-LASIK for correction of moderate and high hyperopia [PDF]
AIM: To compare the clinical outcome of small-incision lenticule intrastromal keratoplasty (sLIKE) and femtosecond laser-assisted in situ keratomileusis (FS-LASIK) for correction of moderate and high hyperopia.

Comparison between Femtosecond Assisted LASIK and Small Incision Lenticule Extraction (SMILE) for Correction of Myopia [PDF]
Objective: To compare Fs-LASIK and Fs-SMILE in terms of efficacy, safety, predictability. Also comparing the effect of both procedures in dry eye parameters, corneal higher order aberrations and corneal asphericity.

A Degradable Sustained‐Release Drug Delivery System for Bleb‐Forming Glaucoma Surgery
The formation of fibrotic tissue after glaucoma filtration surgery has a detrimental effect on bleb survival. A poly‐lactic‐co‐glycolic acid‐based drug delivery system filled with mitomycin‐C (MMC) shows promising results in rabbits, with bleb survival comparable to the current gold standard treatment (intraoperative MMC application).

Comparative study of functional optical zone: small incision lenticule extraction versus femtosecond laser assisted excimer laser keratomileusis [PDF]
AIM: To investigate the size of functional optical zone (FOZ) after small incision lenticule extraction (SMILE) versus femtosecond laser assisted excimer laser keratomileusis (FS-LASIK) for myopia correction and potential associated factors for FOZ ...

Short-Term Impact of FS-LASIK and SMILE on Dry Eye Metrics and Corneal Nerve Morphology [PDF]
PURPOSE: To analyze the short-term (up to 1 month) clinical outcomes in patients undergoing corneal laser refractive surgery and the impact on dry eye disease (DED) metrics and corneal nerves using in vivo confocal microscopy (IVCM). METHODS: The unaided

Purpose. To investigate changes in corneal densitometry (CD) and visual quality following small incision lenticule extraction (SMILE) and laser epithelial keratomileusis (LASEK) in patients with mild‐to‐moderate myopia. Methods. A retrospective analysis was performed on 24 and 25 patients (46 eyes each) who underwent SMILE and LASEK, respectively, for ...
