Delivery by Dendritic Mesoporous Silica Nanoparticles Enhances the Antimicrobial Activity of a Napsin‐Derived Peptide Against Intracellular Mycobacterium tuberculosis

open access: yesAdvanced Healthcare Materials, Volume 10, Issue 14, July 21, 2021., 2021
The activity of the antimicrobial peptide NapFab against intracellular Mycobacterium tuberculosis (Mtb) is significantly increased by loading onto dendritic mesoporous silica nanoparticles (DMSN). This enhanced activity is based on a 30‐fold increased, DMSN‐mediated peptide uptake.

Clearance of senescent cells during cardiac ischemia–reperfusion injury improves recovery

open access: yesAging Cell, Volume 19, Issue 10, October 2020., 2020
Myocardial infarction and subsequent ischemia–reperfusion injury initiate senescence in multiple cell populations in the peri‐infarct region of the myocardium. Production of the SASP drives myocardial inflammation which promotes myocardial remodeling and inhibits angiogenesis.

RNA Detection Based on Graphene Field‐Effect Transistor Biosensor

open access: yesAdvances in Condensed Matter Physics, Volume 2018, Issue 1, 2018., 2018
Graphene has attracted much attention in biosensing applications due to its unique properties. In this paper, the monolayer graphene was grown by chemical vapor deposition (CVD) method. Using the graphene as the electric channel, we have fabricated a graphene field‐effect transistor (G‐FET) biosensor that can be used for label‐free detection of RNA ...
