Risk Analysis and Its Application in FSIS
Risk analysis has become a well established field in the United States during the past two decades; it is used very effectively in several application areas to assess and manage risk. Advances in the application of risk analysis to a wider range of hazards, including biological hazards, and scenarios are now occurring.

Solid polymer electrolytes incorporating LiFSI, LiTFSI, and their binary mixture are investigated to reveal how salt polarity and Lewis basicity regulate dehydrofluorination, crystallinity, and charge density in PVDF‐HFP. The binary‐salt formulation achieves a balanced improvement in ionic conductivity, mechanical robustness, and electrochemical ...

n‐Octylammonium bis(fluorosulfonyl)imides (OA‐FSI, OA‐TFSI, and OA‐PFSI), used as additives for spiro‐OMeTAD hole‐transport materials (HTMs) in perovskite solar cells (PSCs), allow spontaneous perovskite passivation during HTM deposition. Anion component engineering of the OA‐bis(fluorosulfonyl)imides effectively modulate energy alignment in PSCs via ...

Beyond the Hype: Decoding Bis(fluorosulfonyl)imide Chemistry in Advanced Lithium‐Sulfur Batteries
Electrolytes dictate lithium–sulfur battery performance. In localized high‐concentration systems, lithium bis(fluorosulfonyl)imide (LiFSI) and lithium bis(trifluoromethanesulfonyl)imide play distinct roles. High LiFSI content improves lithium protection and interphase stability but also drives side reactions with polysulfides.
