Measurement of Carbon Concentration in Polycrystalline Silicon Using FTIR

Journal of The Electrochemical Society, 1991
The carbon concentration in polycrystalline silicon produced via the Siemens process, the hydrogen reduction of trichlorosilane, was evaluated using FTIR. Samples measured included: as grown polycrystalline silicon, high-temperature annealed polycrystalline silicon, and float zone refined single-crystalline silicon.

Matrix measurements of high temperature molecules by FTIR

Journal of Molecular Structure, 1980
Abstract Diatomic high temperature molecules are produced by reactions of metal vapor / metal chloride with active nitrogen. The molecules are isolated in a rare gas matrix at 10 K and measured by FTIR. The nitrenes are compared and the new molecules BiN (ω = 737 cm −1 ), LiN (ω=660 cm −1 ) and Tin (ω = 1037 cm −1 ) discussed.

Ground-based FTIR Measurements with High Temporal Resolution

Journal of Atmospheric Chemistry, 1998
We outline how ground-based Fourier transform infrared (FTIR) measurements of stratospheric trace species, obtained with high temporal resolution, could be used to detect filaments of polar vortex air at mid-latitudes and therefore test high spatial resolution chemical transport models (CTMs). Vertical column abundances of HCl, ClONO2, HNO3, N2O and HF

In situ FTIR measurements of polyaniline in the non-metallic phase

Synthetic Metals, 1989
Abstract This paper presents results of in situ FTIR measurements during cyclovoltammetric experiments of PANI in pH=4−5 electrolyte. Between −0.2 and +0.8 V vs. SCE only one oxidation-reduction peak is observed. Infrared spectra were recorded simultaneously during the potential sweep.

[In situ measurement of the permeability of concrete by FTIR-MIR].

Guang pu xue yu guang pu fen xi = Guang pu, 2015
Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy with multiple internal reflection mode (FTIR-MIR) has been applied for the first time to measure the permeability of concrete. The effect of water-cement ratio and curing time on the microstructure and permeability of concrete was studied.

Dispersive Vs Ftir Photometric Accuracy - Can it Be Measured?

1987
ABSTRACT The rotating-sector primary standard, used for determining photometric accuracy of dispersive infrared spectrometers, cannot be used for FTIR instruments; in fact we know of no primary standard of photometric accuracy usable with an FTIR spectrometer. The use of secondary standards, calibrated on dispersive instruments, has been described by
