FTM-Broadcast: Efficient Network-wide Ranging
Indoor geolocation has witnessed a significant advancement through the refinement of the 802.11 FTM (Fine Timing Measurement) protocol. Accurate indoor geolocation has numerous applications in areas such as asset tracking, indoor navigation, and location-based services.

Ranging and Location attacks on 802.11 FTM
802.11 Fine Timing Measurement is an indoor ranging technique. Because it is unauthenticated and unprotected, our experiments indicate that an adversary can implement ranging and location attacks, causing an unsuspecting client to incorporate forged values into its location computation. FTM clients tend to range against a small set of responders (top 3

Study of the FTM Detector Performance with Garfield++ [PDF]
The Fast Timing Micro-Pattern Gaseous Detector (FTM) has been recently introduced as a promising alternative for applications that require improved time resolution, such as high-luminosity accelerators and medical imaging. The FTM consists of a stack of several coupled gas layers alternating drift and multiplication stages.

Defensive functioning in MtF and FtM transsexuals
In spite of the potential clinical utility of defense mechanisms in the assessment of gender identity disorder patients as candidates to sex reassignment surgery, there is paucity of research in this field. The aim of the present study is therefore to ascertain whether the defensive profile of MtF and FtM transsexuals seeking sex reassignment surgery ...

FTM — Complex data structures for Max
This article presents FTM, a shared library and a set of modules extending the Max/MSP environment. It also gives a brief description of additional sets of modules based upon FTM. The article particularly addresses the community of researchers and musicians familiar with Max or Max-like programming environments such as Pure Data. FTM extends the signal

An adaptive FTM algorithm [PDF]
In recent years there has been a surging requirement for precise and effective indoor localization measurements due to the emergence of innovative technologies such as the Internet of Things (IoT) [1] and smart home devices. Traditional localization technologies like GPS have been proven not to be precise in indoor environments. A new approach based on

Sensor Self-location with FTM Measurements [PDF]
Multidimensional Scaling is commonly used to solve multi-sensor location problems. In this paper, we show that such technique provides poor results in the case of indoor location problems based on 802.11 Fine Timing Measurements, especially when the number of anchors is small. We then propose an iterative approach based on geometric resolution of angle

Longitudinal Trajectories in Essential Tremor: Evidence From A Seven-Year Follow-Up of Motor and Non-Motor Symptoms. [PDF]
Long‐term follow‐up (almost 7 years) of an ET/ET‐plus cohort (n = 22) shows heterogeneous and partly non‐linear progression, with a contribution of aging to disease burden. Tremor spreads anatomically over time, with selective worsening of kinetic tremor and increasing burden of soft neurological signs.

FTMS of Natural Polymers [PDF]
The ability of Fourier-transform mass spectrometry to produce spectra of some natural polymers - peptides, lignin and humic acid - that include stable, high-mass ions formed by laser desorption/ ionization (LDI) and matrix assisted laser desorption/ionization (MALDI) is demonstrated.
