OPTIMIZATION OF THE COMPOSITION OF THE RAW MATERIAL MIXTURE OF LOW-TEMPERATURE CEMENT ON THE BASIS OF FUEL-CONTAINING COAL PREPARATION WASTE

open access: yesUrban construction and architecture, 2018
The article presents a method for calculating the composition of a two-component raw material mixture for producing lime-clay cement based on fuel-containing technogenic waste - gravitational waste of coal enrichment. A method for determining the optimal ratio of components in the charge, taking into account the calorific properties of the waste, is ...

Carbon Shell‐Encapsulated PtFe Catalysts in High Temperature Polymer Electrolyte Membrane Fuel Cells: Balancing Molecular Sieving and Diffusion for Enhanced Reactant Access

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Scanning electrochemical microscopy reveals reactant diffusion through porous carbon shells to PtFe cores, while the carbon‐encapsulated PtFe enables high‐performance HT‐PEMFC operation by sieving phosphate ions that induce catalyst poisoning. ABSTRACT High‐temperature polymer electrolyte membrane fuel cells (HT‐PEMFCs) operating at 160°C on phosphoric

Nanotherapies for Atherosclerosis: Targeting, Catalysis, and Energy Transduction

open access: yesAdvanced Healthcare Materials, EarlyView.
Atherosclerosis management is hindered by poor drug targeting and plaque heterogeneity. Nanotechnology overcomes these barriers via three core strategies: (1) target‐engineered nanocarriers that achieve lesion‐specific precision via ligand modification, biomimetic camouflage, stimuli‐responsive release, and self‐propelling nanomotors; (2) catalytic ...
