During lactation, mammalian pups rely on the dam for survival and associative learning related to maternal stimuli. This study investigates how maternal preference shifts during the late lactation period in mouse pups. Pups conditioned with odorized dams

Objective Several case reports have proposed a potential association between COVID‐19 vaccination and the subsequent development of idiopathic inflammatory myositis (IIM). This study examined prior COVID‐19 vaccination in US Veterans who developed new‐onset IIM compared to those without new‐onset IIM.

The facet‐engineered ZnO/Zn3In2S6 heterostructure, dominated by {001} plane coupling, exposes abundant unsaturated Zn sites with elongated Zn─O bonds, directing photoexcited charge carriers along an S‐scheme pathway and suppressing recombination. Enhanced interfacial Zn adsorption toward bisphenol A and methylene blue further synergistically promotes ...

Mechanistic Origin of Photodegradation and Impurity Effects in Donor–Acceptor Luminescent Radicals
Purification‐dependent impurities distort the apparent optical and analytical data of TTM‐based radicals without altering their intrinsic photophysical properties. Carbazole attachment elevates the activation barrier of the photodegradation pathway, offering design principles for achieving more robust luminescent radical materials.

Controlling chaos in a chaotic neural network [PDF]
The chaotic neural network constructed with chaotic neuron shows the associative memory function, but its memory searching process cannot be stabilized in a stored state because of the chaotic motion of the network.

Fukui functions (FF) are chemical descriptors useful to explain the reactivity of systems towards electron transfer. Whereas they have been widely employed for molecules, their application to extended systems is scarce. One of the reasons for the limited

Chemical reactivity of alliin and its molecular interactions with the M proteasepro of SARS-CoV-2 [PDF]
In the present work, a computational study of the chemical reactivity of alliin at the X/DGDZVP level of theory (where X is B3LYP, M06, M06L or wB97XD) was performed.
