Review of multiport modular multilevel converters for residential applications: A control perspective

open access: yesIET Power Electronics, EarlyView., 2023
Here, multiport modular multilevel converter (MPMMC) topologies will be reviewed and analysed from a control standpoint. It does this through identifying feasible MPMMC topologies, developing review criteria and then reviewing the feasible topologies.

Hysteresis control for a grid connected dual-buck inverter

open access: yesRevista UIS Ingenierías, 2020
Single-phase inverters are widely used in different renewable energy applications. Although the full-bridge inverter is typically used, dual-buck inverters provide an important advantage, since they eliminate the shoot-through problems.

Dual‐buck full‐bridge grid‐connected inverter with common‐mode leakage current elimination [PDF]

open access: yesElectronics Letters, 2018
The dual‐buck full‐bridge grid‐connected inverter (DFGI) is well known as its no shoot‐through problem, high efficiency and high reliability, but the common‐mode leakage current exists in the positive half cycle. To solve the problems of common‐mode leakage current of the conventional DFGI, a new DFGI topology is proposed.

Robust Step-up DC/AC conversion with a Full-Bridge Non-Inverting Buck-Boost [PDF]

open access: yes2007 IEEE International Conference on Control Applications, 2007
The substitution of the original switches by a full-bridge in a Non-Inverting Buck-Boost converter results in an inverter capable of performing step-down and step-up tasks under sliding mode control. Furthermore, semi-infinite programming techniques are used to minimize power loses while preventing control action saturation.

Study on nonlinear phenomena in dual buck full-bridge inverter

open access: yesActa Physica Sinica, 2014
Dual buck full-bridge inverter has the following advantages: it has no shoot-through problem, but receives high-utilization of DC input voltage, high efficiency and optimum selection of the freewheeling diodes, hence it attracts more and more attention in high power applications.

Multivalent Protein Nanorings for Broad and Potent SARS‐CoV‐2 Neutralization

open access: yesAdvanced Healthcare Materials, EarlyView.
A protein‐only, modular multivalent nanoscaffold displaying 20 anchor points, decorated with two different binders (10 of each), targeting the SARS‐CoV‐2 receptor‐binding domain is presented. The construct self‐assembles into stable, biocompatible, homogeneous nanoparticles, exhibit synergistic binding with fM IC50 values. It also detects spike at 9 ng
