TRMT6‐Mediated m1A Modification of CDK9 mRNA Is a Dual‐Pronged Pathogenic Driver for HBV‐Related Hepatocellular Carcinoma

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
TRMT6‐mediated m1A modification in CDK9 mRNA enhances its mRNA stability and translation efficiency, thereby increasing the protein levels of CDK9. Upregulated CDK9 promotes the progression of HCC by elevating the levels of oncogenic factors including p‐STAT3, MCL1, and BCL‐2. On the other hand, CDK9 phosphorylates TARDBP at Ser254 to activate HBV core

Analysis of Statistical QoS in Half Duplex and Full Duplex Dense Heterogeneous Cellular Networks [PDF]

open access: yes, 2017
Statistical QoS provisioning as an important performance metric in analyzing next generation mobile cellular network, aka 5G, is investigated. In this context, by quantifying the performance in terms of the effective capacity, we introduce a lower bound ...

A Testis‐Specific Aralkylamine N‐Acetyltransferase Regulates Dimorphic Sperm Function and Male Fertility in Moths

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
We identify a Lepidoptera‐conserved testis‐specific arylalkylamine N‐acetyltransferase (LTNAT) that governs male moth fertility via a novel mechanism. LTNAT loss disrupts eupyrene sperm mitochondrial derivatives and impairs apyrene sperm motility, offering a safe molecular target for innovative pesticides and genetic pest control.

Photonic Time Crystals and Time‐Varying Electromagnetic Metamatter: A New Direction for Ultrafast Tunable Photonic and Microwave Materials and Devices

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Photonic time crystals (PTCs) are systems in which electromagnetic parameters are modulated periodically in time, producing momentum bandgaps via temporal scattering rather than spatial Bragg processes. This review examines the theoretical frameworks, modeling, and computational tools for time‐varying media, and summarizes experimental demonstrations ...

Outage performance of multi-relay collaborative NOMA systems supporting multiple multicast services

open access: yesDianxin kexue, 2023
A cooperative non-orthogonal multiple access (NOMA) system was proposed to support unicast primary user and multiple multicast services based on multiple relays strategy.Under the Rayleigh channel, the secondary user with the best channel condition from ...

Enzymatic DNA Reaction Networks for Orchestrating Stimuli‐Dependent Temporal Molecular Pulse

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
We present an enzymatic DNA reaction network (EDRN) that encodes nucleic‐acid targets in time, converting inputs into a universal strand and then into programmable transient fluorescence pulses. With time‐color multiplexing, EDRN enables single‐tube high‐plex nucleic acid detection and shows strong agreement with clinical sequencing across 32 specimens.

Hepatocyte BDNF Acts as a Novel Immune Checkpoint to Restrain TLR4‐Mediated Acute Hepatitis

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study identifies hepatocyte‐derived BDNF as an endogenous TLR4 antagonist that alleviates acute hepatitis. BDNF is downregulated in hepatocytes via REST‐mediated transcriptional repression during ALI/ALF. Mechanistically, BDNF binds to TLR4 on macrophages to suppress inflammation.

Using a Binary Coding Metasurface to Achieve Polarization‐Dependent Full‐Duplex and Full‐Polarization Receiving

open access: yesEngineering Reports
Coding metasurfaces have the advantage of controlling electromagnetic waves by designing digital states of the unit elements. This digital mechanism can be conveniently integrated into electronic information systems, hence, coding metasurfaces have been ...

Novel Cancellation Techniques and Throughput Analysis for 6G Full-Duplex Wireless System

open access: yesSpace: Science & Technology
Recent researches show that it is possible to achieve full-duplex system if the self-interference signal could be cancelled completely for 6G research. The majority of the overall self-interference cancellation is contributed by passive cancellation. The

Multi-Antenna Cooperative Wireless Systems: A Diversity-Multiplexing Tradeoff Perspective

open access: yes, 2007
We consider a general multiple antenna network with multiple sources, multiple destinations and multiple relays in terms of the diversity-multiplexing tradeoff (DMT).
