Neutrino Magnetic Moment, CP Violation and Flavor Oscillations in Matter
We consider collective oscillations of neutrinos, which are emergent nonlinear flavor evolution phenomena instigated by neutrino-neutrino interactions in astrophysical environments with sufficiently high neutrino densities.

Organoids in pediatric cancer research
Organoid technology has revolutionized cancer research, yet its application in pediatric oncology remains limited. Recent advances have enabled the development of pediatric tumor organoids, offering new insights into disease biology, treatment response, and interactions with the tumor microenvironment.

On the Size of the Safety Area around the Launch Trajectory of a Rocket
The safety zone around the flight path of a rocket is determined by the fall of debris in the case of an accidental explosion or commanded termination. The trajectory of a tumbling body in a vertical plane is determined by specifying the velocity, flight

Duration problem: basic concept and some extensions
We consider a sequence of independent random variables with the known distribution observed sequentially. The observation $n$ is assumed to be a value of one order statistics such as s:n-th, where 1 is less than s is less than n.

Cell wall target fragment discovery using a low‐cost, minimal fragment library
LoCoFrag100 is a fragment library made up of 100 different compounds. Similarity between the fragments is minimized and 10 different fragments are mixed into a single cocktail, which is soaked to protein crystals. These crystals are analysed by X‐ray crystallography, revealing the binding modes of the bound fragment ligands.

Asymptotic second moment of Dirichlet L-functions along a thin coset
We prove an asymptotic formula for the second moment of central values of Dirichlet L-functions restricted to a coset. More specifically, consider a coset of the subgroup of characters modulo d inside the full group of characters modulo q. Suppose that

Vortex Structure Around a Magnetic Dot in Planar Superconductors
The problem of the giant vortex state around a magnetic dot which is embedded in a superconducting film is investigated. The full non-linear, self-consistent Ginzburg-Landau equations are solved numerically in order to calculate the free energy, the ...

Border Basis relaxation for polynomial optimization [PDF]
A relaxation method based on border basis reduction which improves the efficiency of Lasserre's approach is proposed to compute the optimum of a polynomial function on a basic closed semi algebraic set.

AAA+ protein unfoldases—the Moirai of the proteome
AAA+ unfoldases are essential molecular motors that power protein degradation and disaggregation. This review integrates recent cryo‐electron microscopy (cryo‐EM) structures and single‐molecule biophysical data to reconcile competing models of substrate translocation.
