Finding novel vulnerabilities of hypomorphic BRCA1 alleles
Synthetic lethality screens performed to identify novel vulnerabilities often model complete gene loss, thereby overlooking patient‐derived hypomorphic mutations. In this study, we have performed genome‐wide CRISPR screens on BRCA1 hypomorphic mutations, showing BRCA1I26A behaves like wild‐type, while BRCA1R1699Q mimics deficiency. Furthermore, we have

Monotone operator functions, gaps and power moment problem [PDF]
The article is devoted to investigation of the classes of functions belonging to the gaps between classes $P_{n+1}(I)$ and $P_{n}(I)$ of matrix monotone functions for full matrix algebras of successive dimensions.

Application of Full Depth Side Plate to Moment Connection of I-Beam to Double-I Column [PDF]
Double-I built-up columns are used extensively in low and medium rise steel structures. These sections have inherent compression, torsion and bending strength in all directions. The open sides of this type of column are covered with plates. When I beams

MITF maintains genome stability in nonmelanocyte lineages
MITF is essential for melanocyte survival and acts as an oncogene in 10%–20% of melanomas. We show that MITF depletion causes genome instability in nonmelanocytic cells, leading to LATS2‐mediated P53 activation, cell cycle arrest, and apoptosis. This study highlights the role of MITF as a genome maintenance factor beyond the melanocyte lineage. Created

Spatial biology in cancer epigenetics
Spatial epigenomics combines molecular profiling with tissue architecture to reveal how gene regulation is organized within intact tissues. In cancer, these technologies uncover the mechanisms driving tumor heterogeneity and microenvironmental interactions, opening new opportunities for biomarker discovery and precision medicine.

MATHICSE Technical Report : Tensor train approximation of moment equations for the log-normal Darcy problem [PDF]
We study the Darcy problem with log-normal permeability, modeling the fluid flow in a heterogeneous porous medium. A perturbation approach is adopted, expanding the solution in Taylor series around the nominal value of the permeability.

Time‐resolved X‐ray solution scattering captures how proteins change shape in real time under near‐native conditions. This article presents a practical workflow for light‐triggered TR‐XSS experiments, from data collection to structural refinement. Using a calcium‐transporting membrane protein as an example, the approach can be broadly applied to study ...

Single‐molecule DNA flow‐stretch assays for high‐throughput DNA–protein interaction studies
We describe an optimised single‐molecule DNA flow‐stretch assay that visualises DNA–protein interactions in real time. Linear DNA fragments are tethered to a surface and stretched by buffer flow for fluorescence imaging. Using λ and φX174 DNA, this protocol enhances reproducibility and accessibility, providing a versatile approach for studying diverse ...

Moment sequences and their applications [PDF]
In this dissertation, we first present a unified treatment of compact moment problems, both the truncated and full moment cases. Second, we define the lower and upper functions V±(ð₁,... ð n) on the convex hull of the curve Γn = {(t,.·.,tn): t ∈ [0,1] }
