Soft Switching Full-Bridge Isolated Circuit Solution for Auxiliary Power Supply in Power Converter Systems

IECON 2019 - 45th Annual Conference of the IEEE Industrial Electronics Society, 2019
This paper deals with an isolated full-bridge circuit designed to distribute the auxiliary power supplies needed in power converters. The proposed circuit features soft-switching operation. The provided galvanic isolation limits the disturbances propagation in the critical circuits of power converters, such as gate drivers and control circuits.

Parallel Operation of Full Power Converters in Permanent-Magnet Direct-Drive Wind Power Generation System

IEEE Transactions on Industrial Electronics, 2013
Parallel operation is an effective way to improve the capacity of full power converter in permanent-magnet direct-drive wind power generation system. But it causes the zero-sequence circulating-current (ZSCC), which brings current discrepancy, current waveform distortion, power losses, and electromagnetic interference (EMI), etc.

Analysis of topologies of synchronous machine with full converters applied in wind power

2013 IEEE PES Conference on Innovative Smart Grid Technologies (ISGT Latin America), 2013
The development of many technologies has provided a fast growth in the wind power. In this context, the variable speed wind turbines are preferred because more power is extracted from the wind. The synchronous machines has been gained attention because eliminates the gearbox, source of many mechanical problems.

Full-wave Transient Simulation of Radiation Emission from Power Converter

2008 8th International Symposium on Antennas, Propagation and EM Theory, 2008
This paper presents a full-wave transient simulation of radiation emission of a power converter by applying CST microwave studioreg (CST MWS). IGBT switching spikes, harness and cabling, and all associated passive components are taken into account together with the metallic housing in the simulation.

Full-Bridge ZVZCS Converter Design Based on Power System

Advanced Materials Research, 2014
It is very common that the power consumption is too high and the efficiency ratio is too low in the field of the current full-bridge ZVZCS Converter, thus a practical circuit topology is designed and its working process is analyzed to solve the problem.

On-Site LVRT Testing Method for Full-Power Converter Wind Turbines

IEEE Transactions on Sustainable Energy, 2017
Low-voltage ride-through (LVRT) capability is now required for all large-scale wind turbines (WTs) connected to the grid. This paper presents an on-site LVRT testing method for full-power converter (FPC) WTs. The new method makes use of the already installed WTs to emulate the grid and produce a given fault for the WT under test.

Dynamical compensator design for a PWM controlled full-bridge power converter

[1992] Proceedings of the 31st IEEE Conference on Decision and Control, 2005
A new approach is proposed for the design of a pulse width modulated (PWM) feedback control scheme regulating a full bridge buck converter (FBBC) in an output signal stabilization task. The approach is based on the specification of a dynamical feedback control law which accomplishes asymptotic stabilization to a preselected constant operating point ...

System Stability of Full-Regulated Bus Converter in Distributed Power System

INTELEC 05 - Twenty-Seventh International Telecommunications Conference, 2005
The bus architecture, consisting of bus converter and POLs (point of load), has become very popular since POL can respond to some demands of multi power supply voltage, low driving voltage and series sequence/tracking of LSI with more flexibility than isolated DC-DC solution.
