Study on Flow Field Evolution Law of Goaf in Fully Mechanized Caving Face and Gel Air Leakage Blocking Technology under Withdrawal Condition. [PDF]
During the retreat period of the fully mechanized coal mining face underground, the intensity of air leakage is high and the distribution of residual coal is widespread, which exacerbate the risk of spontaneous combustion of residual coal in the goaf ...

Design of Initial Mining Pressure Relief Scheme for Large‐Size Mining Face: A Case Study
The numerical simulation analysis method is used to compare the actual mining face (315 m) with the designed mining face (200 m). The results show that the large mining height working face has larger abutment pressure peak and stress concentration factor than the general mining height working face.

Safe Effective Key Mining Technologies of Fully Mechanized Caving Face in Steeply Dipping Seam [PDF]
Floor failure and slipping, rib spalling, toppling and slanting of supports and gliding of equipment in the panel generally exist during the top coal caving of steeply inclined thick seam. Technologies of fast moving, zone controlling of surrounding rock and equipment’s stability controlling were put forward through theoretical analysis and field ...

With the advancement of coal mining technology driving the development of working faces toward increased mining heights and extended lengths, the enlargement of face dimensions has led to expanded overlying strata failure zones and intensified ground pressure manifestations. Consequently, traditional methods for determining hydraulic support resistance
