On the pillars of Functional Analysis [PDF]
Abstract Many authors consider that the main pillars of Functional Analysis are the Hahn–Banach Theorem, the Uniform Boundedness Principle and the Open Mapping Principle. The first one is derived from Zorn’s Lemma, while the latter two usually are obtained from Baire’s Category Theorem.

Functional Analysis Is Dead: Long Live Functional Analysis [PDF]
In this rejoinder, we discuss the commonalities and differences of the commentaries to our target article. Each commentary agreed with our basic message that intervention science needs to move from the DSM-governed protocols-for-syndrome approach to process-based treatments.

On the Standardization of the Functional Analysis [PDF]
The functional analysis procedures described in the seminal Iwata et al. (1982/1994) study are prominent in the applied behavior analytic literature, having been replicated hundreds of times over the past 30 years (Beavers, Iwata, & Lerman, 2013; Hanley, McCord, Iwata, 2003).

Muscle activities of the elbow flexors, especially the brachialis muscle (BR), have been measured with intramuscular electromyography (EMG) using the fine-wire electrodes. It remains unclear whether BR activity can be assessed using surface EMG.

Lipid cyclic peroxides are a rarely reported and documented class of compounds in the human organism. Recently, we reported the formation of squalene (SQ) hydroperoxy cyclic peroxides derived from SQ monohydroperoxide isomers (SQ-OOHs) for the first time.

ANALYSIS OF QUANTUM FUNCTIONS [PDF]
This paper initiates a systematic study of quantum functions, which are (partial) functions defined in terms of quantum mechanical computations. Of all quantum functions, we focus on resource-bounded quantum functions whose inputs are classical bit strings. We prove complexity-theoretical properties and unique characteristics of these quantum functions

Glucosylceramide (GlcCer) belongs to sphingolipids and is found naturally in plant foods and other sources that humans consume daily. Our previous studies demonstrated that GlcCer prevents inflammatory bowel disease both in vitro and in vivo, whose ...
