Modeling General Asymptotic Calabi–Yau Periods
Abstract In the quest to uncovering the fundamental structures that underlie some of the asymptotic Swampland conjectures the authors initiate the general study of asymptotic period vectors of Calabi–Yau manifolds. The strategy is to exploit the constraints imposed by completeness, symmetry, and positivity, which are formalized in asymptotic Hodge ...

Efficient Simulation of Open Quantum Systems on NISQ Trapped‐Ion Hardware
Open quantum systems exhibit rich dynamics that can be simulated efficiently on quantum computers, allowing us to learn more about their behavior. This work applies a new method to simulate certain open quantum systems on noisy trapped‐ion quantum hardware.

Abstract We study behavior in a trust game where first‐movers initially have a higher endowment than second‐movers but the occurrence of a positive random shock can eliminate this inequality by increasing the endowment of the second‐mover before the decision of the first‐mover.

Shear transfer model for ultra‐high‐performance concrete incorporating fiber bridging mechanism
Abstract Ultra‐high‐performance concrete (UHPC) exhibits exceptional mechanical properties, including high shear strength, partly attributed to the fiber bridging mechanism. However, existing shear transfer models for normal‐strength concrete have not considered the significant contribution of fibers.

Enhancing generalized spectral clustering with embedding Laplacian graph regularization
Abstract An enhanced generalised spectral clustering framework that addresses the limitations of existing methods by incorporating the Laplacian graph and group effect into a regularisation term is presented. By doing so, the framework significantly enhances discrimination power and proves highly effective in handling noisy data.

Abstract This research introduces an equivalent circuit model and a computational method to address complex mechanical motion issues through electromechanical analogies. The study initially refines core vibration characteristics using single‐ and multi‐degree‐of‐freedom models, subsequently establishing equivalent circuit models for these various ...

An Introduction to Predictive Processing Models of Perception and Decision‐Making
Abstract The predictive processing framework includes a broad set of ideas, which might be articulated and developed in a variety of ways, concerning how the brain may leverage predictive models when implementing perception, cognition, decision‐making, and motor control.

ABSTRACT Digital twin is considered the key technique for real‐time monitoring and life‐cycle management of electric equipment. To construct the digital twin model of electric equipment, a multi‐parameter electromagnetic analysis is needed to generate a large amount of high fidelity data under various working condition.
