Unveiling New Perspectives on the Hirota–Maccari System With Multiplicative White Noise
ABSTRACT In this study, we delve into the stochastic Hirota–Maccari system, which is subjected to multiplicative noise according to the Itô sense. The stochastic Hirota–Maccari system is significant for its ability to accurately model how stochastic affects nonlinear wave propagation, providing valuable insights into complex systems like fluid dynamics

ABSTRACT Liénard equations are analyzed using the recent theory of 𝒞∞‐structures. For each Liénard equation, a 𝒞∞‐structure is determined by using a Lie point symmetry and a 𝒞∞‐symmetry. Based on this approach, a novel method for integrating these equations is proposed, which consists in solving sequentially two completely integrable Pfaffian equations.

A Biophysical Approach to the Design of Networks of Communication Systems
ABSTRACT Inspired by the growth dynamics of the protist Physarum polycephalum, we employ a formalism that describes adaptive, incompressible Hagen‐Poiseuille flows on channel networks to identify graphs connecting different nodes within Euclidean space. These graphs are either suboptimal or optimal relative to their length.

Neural Controlled Differential Equation and Its Application in Pharmacokinetics and Pharmacodynamics
Neural controlled differential equations (NCDE), driven by control variables, are capable to learn the discontinuous dynamics in the PK and PD datasets. ABSTRACT With the recent advances in machine learning (ML) and artificial intelligence (AI), data‐driven modeling approaches for pharmacokinetics (PK) and pharmacodynamics (PD) have gained popularity ...

On some differences between number fields and function fields
The analogy between the arithmetic of varieties over number fields and the arithmetic of varieties over function fields is a leading theme in arithmetic geometry. This analogy is very powerful but there are some gaps.

Ensemble Kalman filters (EnKFs) with quality control (QC) are commonly used in the data assimilation (DA) of all‐sky satellite‐sensed infrared radiance (IR) observations. However, the statistical assumptions underlying EnKFs and QC are violated in such DA.

Motivic integration and the Grothendieck group of pseudo-finite fields
We survey our recent work on an extension of the theory of motivic integration, called arithmetic motivic integration. We developed this theory to understand how p-adic integrals of a very general type depend on p.Comment: 11 ...
