Existence of mild solutions of second-order neutral functional differential inclusions with nonlocal conditions in Banach spaces

open access: yesInternational Journal of Mathematics and Mathematical Sciences, 2004
We study the existence of mild solutions of the nonlinear second-order neutral functional differential and integrodifferential inclusions with nonlocal conditions in Banach spaces.

On more general boundary value problems involving sequential fractional derivatives

open access: yesAdvances in Difference Equations, 2019
We investigate the existence of solutions for new boundary value problems of Caputo-type sequential fractional differential equations and inclusions supplemented with nonlocal integro-multipoint boundary conditions.

Structural biology of ferritin nanocages

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Ferritin is a conserved iron‐storage protein that sequesters iron as a ferric mineral core within a nanocage, protecting cells from oxidative damage and maintaining iron homeostasis. This review discusses ferritin biology, structure, and function, and highlights recent cryo‐EM studies revealing mechanisms of ferritinophagy, cellular iron uptake, and ...

Organ‐specific redox imbalances in spinal muscular atrophy mice are partially rescued by SMN antisense oligonucleotides

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
We identified a systemic, progressive loss of protein S‐glutathionylation—detected by nonreducing western blotting—alongside dysregulation of glutathione‐cycle enzymes in both neuronal and peripheral tissues of Taiwanese SMA mice. These alterations were partially rescued by SMN antisense oligonucleotide therapy, revealing persistent redox imbalance as ...

Analysis of Adaptive Synchronization for Stochastic Neutral-Type Memristive Neural Networks with Mixed Time-Varying Delays

open access: yesDiscrete Dynamics in Nature and Society, 2018
Linear feedback control and adaptive feedback control are proposed to achieve the synchronization of stochastic neutral-type memristive neural networks with mixed time-varying delays.

Convergence of Rothe scheme for hemivariational inequalities of parabolic type

open access: yes, 2012
This article presents the convergence analysis of a sequence of piecewise constant and piecewise linear functions obtained by the Rothe method to the solution of the first order evolution partial differential inclusion $u'(t)+Au(t)+\iota^*\partial J ...

Nonresonance impulsive functional differential inclusions with variable times

open access: yesComputers & Mathematics with Applications, 2004
The authors study the existence of solutions of a boundary value problem for first-order functional-differential inclusions with state dependent impulses of the type \[ y'(t)-\lambda y(t)\in F(t,y_t),\text{ for a.e. } t\in J=[0,T]\setminus \{t_1(y(t)),\dots, t_m(y(t))\}, \] \[ y(t^{+}) =I_k(y(t^-)), t=t_k(y(t)), k=1,\dots, m, \] \[ y(t)=\varphi(t), t ...

Transferrin receptor 1‐mediated iron uptake supports thermogenic activation in human cervical‐derived adipocytes

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
In this study, we found that human cervical‐derived adipocytes maintain intracellular iron level by regulating the expression of iron transport‐related proteins during adrenergic stimulation. Melanotransferrin is predicted to interact with transferrin receptor 1 based on in silico analysis.

Boundary-value problems for first and second order functional differential inclusions

open access: yesElectronic Journal of Differential Equations, 2003
This paper presents sufficient conditions for the existence of solutions to boundary-value problems of first and second order multi-valued differential equations in Banach spaces. Our results obtained using fixed point theorems, and lead to new existence

The planar cell polarity protein Vangl2 interacts with the PDZ‐domains of Scribble but not with a unique PDZ‐like domain in Inturned

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Structural and biochemical characterisations show that the planar cell polarity (PCP) protein Inturned harbours a unique PDZ‐like domain that does not bind canonical PDZ‐binding motifs (PBMs) like that of another PCP protein Vangl2. In contrast, the apical‐basal polarity protein Scribble contains four PDZ domains that bind Vangl2, but one PDZ domain ...
