The dFoCC pipeline starts with observed DED and resting‐state coordinates, which are then used to generate a library of triggered states. Correlation analysis of the calculated DED features of each candidate vs observed DED permits quantitative evaluation of candidate structural quality.

Merging discrete measurements [PDF]
A merging function synthesizes a vector of numbers (representing measurements, scores or quantitative opinions) into a single number (representing a consensus or collective measurement, score or quantitative opinion).

Solving functional equations with computer [PDF]
In this paper we deal with the linear two variable functional equation ℎ_0(x,y)f_0(g_0(x,y))+⋅⋅⋅+ℎ_n(x,y)f_n(g_n(x,y))=F(x,y) where n is a positive integer, g_0, g_1,..., g_n, h_0,ℎ_1,...,ℎ_n and F are given real valued analytic functions on an open ...

Acute caffeine treatment protects the developing retina from ischemia‐induced cell death
Caffeine reduces cell death in the developing retina under ischemia (OGD). This effect does not involve BDNF upregulation or antioxidant pathways (NRF2/VEGF). Neuroprotection occurs mainly through adenosine A2A receptor antagonism, decreasing glutamate release and excitotoxicity, highlighting caffeine's potential as an acute neuroprotective agent in ...

Pharmacological inhibition of PERK in a DEN‐induced mouse model of liver cancer does not reduce tumor burden but alters cellular stress signaling. Despite blocking PERK activity, downstream stress responses, including CHOP expression, remain active, suggesting compensatory mechanisms within the unfolded protein response that may influence tumor ...

New results on global exponential stabilization of impulsive functional differential equations with infinite delays or finite delays [PDF]
This paper studies the global exponential stabilization of impulsive functional differential equations with infinite delays or finite delays by using Lyapunov functions and improved Razumikhin technique.

Early‐life exposure to a high‐fat diet altered intact Achilles tendons in rat offspring, making them thinner, stiffer, and molecularly distinct even without injury. These findings suggest that developmental high‐fat diet exposure may impair tendon quality and increase susceptibility to mechanical overload or tendon injury later in life.

Abruptly changing from aerobic to anaerobic conditions (sudden anaerobization) induced growth inhibition and a significant increase in intracellular labile ferrous iron in the aerotolerant anaerobe Amphibacillus xylanus. We found that free flavins mediate efficient electron transfer from NADH to ferric iron under anaerobic conditions, suggesting that ...

Discounting Models for Outcomes over Continuous Time [PDF]
Events that occur over a period of time can be described either as sequences of outcomes at discrete times or as functions of outcomes in an interval of time. This paper presents discounting models for events of the latter type. Conditions on preferences
