Theoretical Studies of Nonlinear Relaxation Electrophysical Phenomena in Dielectrics with Ionic–Molecular Chemical Bonds in a Wide Range of Fields and Temperatures

open access: yesApplied Sciences, 2022
This paper is devoted to the development of generalized (for a wide range of fields (100 kV/m–1000 MV/m) and temperatures (0–1500 K) in the radio frequency range (1 kHz–500 MHz)) methods for the theoretical investigation of the physical mechanism of ...

A Novel Approach for Simulation of Automotive Radar Sensors Designed for Systematic Support of Vehicle Development

open access: yesSensors, 2023
Despite the progress in driving automation, the market introduction of higher-level automation has not yet been achieved. One of the main reasons for this is the effort in safety validation to prove functional safety to the customer.

Uniform bounds on biorthogonal functions for real exponentials with an application to the control theory of parabolic equations [PDF]

open access: yesQuarterly of Applied Mathematics, 1974
Abstract : In the report the authors study harmonic properties of sequences (e - (lambda sub k)t) of real exponential functions. Linear independence results, including estimates on the norms of biorthogonal functions, are obtained in the space (L sup 2) over the interval = or > 0, but 0.

PPP–RTK functional models formulated with undifferenced and uncombined GNSS observations

open access: yesSatellite Navigation, 2022
Technique PPP–RTK combines the advantages of both the Precise Point Positioning (PPP) and the Real-Time Kinematic (RTK) positioning. With the emergence of multi-frequency Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) observations, it is preferable to ...

Real-Time Equation-of-Motion Coupled-Cluster Cumulant Green’s Function Method: Heterogeneous Parallel Implementation Based on the Tensor Algebra for Many-Body Methods Infrastructure

open access: yesJournal of Chemical Theory and Computation, 2023
We report the implementation of the real-time equation-of-motion coupled-cluster (RT-EOM-CC) cumulant Green's function method [J. Chem. Phys. 152, 174113 (2020)] within the Tensor Algebra for Many-body Methods (TAMM) infrastructure. TAMM is a massively parallel heterogeneous tensor library designed for utilizing forthcoming exascale computing resources.

On a Certain Generalized Functional Equation for Set-Valued Functions

open access: yesMathematics, 2020
The aim of the paper is to generalize results by Sikorska on some functional equations for set-valued functions. In the paper, a tool is described for solving a generalized type of an integral-functional equation for a set-valued function F:X→cc(Y ...

Equation f(p(x)) = q(f(x)) for given real functions p, q [PDF]

open access: yesCzechoslovak Mathematical Journal, 2012
We investigate functional equations f(p(x)) = q(f(x)) where p and q are given real functions defined on the set ℝ of all real numbers. For these investigations, we can use methods for constructions of homomorphisms of mono-unary algebras. Our considerations will be confined to functions p, q which are strictly increasing and continuous on ℝ.

Multiple solutions of nonlinear elliptic functional differential equations

open access: yesElectronic Journal of Qualitative Theory of Differential Equations, 2018
We shall consider weak solutions of boundary value problems for elliptic functional differential equations of the form $$ -\sum_{j=1}^nD_j[a_j(x,u,Du;u)]+a_0(x,u,Du;u)=F,\qquad x\in \Omega $$ with homogeneous boundary conditions, where $\Omega \subset ...

Synthetic neuronal datasets for benchmarking directed functional connectivity metrics [PDF]

open access: yesPeerJ, 2015
Background. Datasets consisting of synthetic neural data generated with quantifiable and controlled parameters are a valuable asset in the process of testing and validating directed functional connectivity metrics.
