LAURA: Let’s Arrange User Requirements Accurately
One of the most important skills in software engineering is the ability to specify clear unambiguous requirements. Students in the software engineering degree program at the University of Guayaquil present difficulties in describing user requirements ...

A new class of Fermionic Projectors: M{\o}ller operators and mass oscillation properties
Recently, a new functional analytic construction of quasi-free states for a self-dual CAR algebra has been presented in \cite{Felix2}. This method relies on the so-called strong mass oscillation property.

Phosphatidylinositol 4‐kinase as a target of pathogens—friend or foe?
This graphical summary illustrates the roles of phosphatidylinositol 4‐kinases (PI4Ks). PI4Ks regulate key cellular processes and can be hijacked by pathogens, such as viruses, bacteria and parasites, to support their intracellular replication. Their dual role as essential host enzymes and pathogen cofactors makes them promising drug targets.

Exploring Requirements Engineering for Machine Learning via a Product Case Study
Requirements Engineering (RE) is a well-defined process in software development. Through customer requirement elicitation techniques, Non-Functional Requirements (NFRs) and the Functional Requirements (FRs) that implement them, are defined.

Protein pyrophosphorylation by inositol pyrophosphates — detection, function, and regulation
Protein pyrophosphorylation is an unusual signaling mechanism that was discovered two decades ago. It can be driven by inositol pyrophosphate messengers and influences various cellular processes. Herein, we summarize the research progress and challenges of this field, covering pathways found to be regulated by this posttranslational modification as ...

Function‐driven design of a surrogate interleukin‐2 receptor ligand
Interleukin (IL)‐2 signaling can be achieved and precisely fine‐tuned through the affinity, distance, and orientation of the heterodimeric receptors with their ligands. We designed a biased IL‐2 surrogate ligand that selectively promotes effector T and natural killer cell activation and differentiation. Interleukin (IL) receptors play a pivotal role in
