Peridynamic Mindlin Plate Formulation for Functionally Graded Materials [PDF]
In this study, a new peridynamic Mindlin plate formulation is presented which is suitable for the analysis of functionally graded materials. The governing equations of peridynamic formulation are obtained by using Euler-Lagrange equations in conjunction with Taylor’s expansion.

Shear Correction Factors for Functionally Graded Plates [PDF]
The Reissner-Mindlin plate model for calculation of functionally graded materials has been proposed in literature by using shear correction coefficient of homogeneous model. However, this use is a priori not appropriate for the gradient material. Identification of the transverse shear factors is thus investigated in this paper.

The dispersion waves propagating in anisotropic functionally graded (FG) plates with arbitrary transverse heterogeneity and arbitrary elastic monoclinic anisotropy are analysed within a recently developed six-dimensional formalism. The dispersion relation is obtained for all modes of dispersive harmonic waves propagating in an unbounded plate.
