Bayesian function‐on‐function regression for multilevel functional data [PDF]

open access: yesBiometrics, 2015
SummaryMedical and public health research increasingly involves the collection of complex and high dimensional data. In particular, functional data—where the unit of observation is a curve or set of curves that are finely sampled over a grid—is frequently obtained.

Indole Diterpene Derivatives from the Aspergillus flavus GZWMJZ-288, an Endophytic Fungus from Garcinia multiflora

open access: yesMolecules, 2023
A new indole diterpene, 26-dihydroxyaflavininyl acetate (1), along with five known analogs (2–6) were isolated from the liquid fermentation of Aspergillus flavus GZWMJZ-288, an endophyte from Garcinia multiflora.

Dangerous demographics in post-bleach corals reveal boom-bust versus protracted declines

open access: yesScientific Reports, 2021
Thermal-stress events have changed the structure, biodiversity, and functioning of coral reefs. But how these disturbances affect the dynamics of individual coral colonies remains unclear.

Indefinite theta functions and black hole partition functions [PDF]

open access: yes, 2014
We explore various aspects of supersymmetric black hole partition functions in four-dimensional toroidally compactified heterotic string theory. These functions suffer from divergences owing to the hyperbolic nature of the charge lattice in this theory ...

Two New 4-Hydroxy-2-pyridone Alkaloids with Antimicrobial and Cytotoxic Activities from Arthrinium sp. GZWMJZ-606 Endophytic with Houttuynia cordata Thunb

open access: yesMolecules, 2023
Two new 4-hydroxy-2-pyridone alkaloids furanpydone A and B (1 and 2), along with two known compounds N-hydroxyapiosporamide (3) and apiosporamide (4) were isolated from the endophytic fungus Arthrinium sp.

A construction of bent functions from plateaued functions [PDF]

open access: yes, 2011
In this presentation, a technique for constructing bent functions from plateaued functions is introduced and analysed. This generalizes earlier techniques for constructing bent from near-bent functions. Using this construction, we obtain a big variety of

Regioselective alkali metal reduction of dibenzocyclooctadiene lignan derivatives, demethoxylation followed by dehalogenation

open access: yesChemistry Central Journal, 2017
The regioselective demethoxylation and dehalogenation of dihalogenated dibenzocyclooctadiene lignans derivatives were realized in a one-step reaction with excellent yields in the sodium and t-butanol reaction system.

Determination of a Wave Function Functional [PDF]

open access: yesPhysical Review Letters, 2004
In this paper we propose the idea of expanding the space of variations in standard variational calculations for the energy by considering the wave function $ψ$ to be a functional of a set of functions $χ: ψ= ψ[χ]$, rather than a function. In this manner a greater flexibility to the structure of the wave function is achieved.
